SundancerS White Diesel Haze Auto | Community Contest Grow The White Diesel Haze Auto from Sensi Seeds White Label has definitely got us curious. We’ve grown a few diesel-flavored plants in the tent before, but never one that actually has Diesel right there in the name. With around 70% Sativa, we’re expecting another lively and energetic lady in the tent. Now we’re curious to see whether she’ll also show some serious Sativa characteristics in her appearance and start reaching for the sky. We already know Sensi Seeds, and whenever we visit Amsterdam, stopping by one of their two sweet little shops is simply part of the trip for us. It’s just as much a part of the experience as wandering around the city. So it’s even more exciting to put some Sensi genetics to the test ourselves this time. The start was a little adventure, though. Germination was, let’s say, somewhat bumpy. Normally, it’s no big deal if a seed doesn’t immediately decide to start its career. But after the little lady had been walking around with her seed shell for three days, we decided to give her a little helping hand. With a small knife, something like this can actually be solved surprisingly well if you’re careful enough. Her first leaves currently still look a little wrinkled and squeezed, but we expect that to grow out within the next day or two. New nutrients: ATAMI A very special thank you goes to Marc/Mark from ATAMI. Our informative and genuinely great conversation made us curious about the ATAMI nutrient system and ultimately convinced us to give it a try for the first time in this Diary. We’re really excited to see how the system performs in everyday use, especially with almost daily feeding and precise dosing. A little spoiler right from the start: a 1 ml syringe was included. That at least suggests we’re not supposed to follow the classic philosophy of “close enough” and “more is better.” Exactly the kind of thing we like. We’re really happy to be part of the ATAMI Contest! For the substrate, we’re sticking with our tried-and-tested BioBizz soil for now. The mix consists of approximately 70% All Mix, 25% Light Mix and a small amount of worm humus. So we’re combining a proven foundation with a completely new nutrient system for us. Let’s see how this combination performs. Canna Community Germany We were genuinely happy to receive the invitation and, of course, we’re more than happy to join the Community Grow. We’re looking forward to exchanging experiences with the other growers, hearing about their experiences, picking up some good tips and hopefully having plenty of friendly conversations along the way. For now, it’s time to observe, learn and let the White Diesel Haze Auto find her own way without interfering too much. After her slightly bumpy start, she’s more than welcome to show us what she’s made of. Once again, a huge thank you to CCG, ATAMI and Sensi Seeds for the support and for giving us the opportunity to be part of this Community Contest. We’re excited about the weeks ahead and, as always, we’ll take you along for the journey. 😎

SundancerS The first grow week of our White Diesel Haze Auto from Sensi Seeds is now complete. After being stuck inside her own seed for three days at the beginning, she seems to have recovered from this little mishap quite well. She is still growing somewhat cautiously, but she is definitely lively and steadily reaching towards the light. At the beginning of the second week, we increased the PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) to 400. This should give her enough light without causing unnecessarily large internodal spacing. After just seven days, of course, everything is still wide open, so for now we’re giving her the time she needs to develop and find her own rhythm. We also gained some first practical experience with the ATAMI nutrient system this week. The dosing syringe works very well in principle and allows for really precise dosing. The handling does take a little getting used to, though. But that’s exactly what these contests are all about: trying things out, gaining experience and finding out what works best in the end. 😁

SundancerS German version below: The White Diesel Haze Auto from Sensi Seeds is heading into her second week, even though technically the full week won’t be over for another two days. We’re trying to get our weekend rhythm back on track. The little lady has certainly put on some good growth over the last few days and is looking really good for day 10 after germination. Whether we’ll top her is something we’ll decide over the next few days. At the moment, she’s still not quite strong enough for it and we don’t want to force anything. What’s particularly interesting is how compactly she’s growing so far. For such a Sativa-dominant plant, the internodal spacing is surprisingly tight, at least for now. Let’s see if she keeps it that way or eventually decides to live up to her Sativa genetics and reach for the sky. So far, we’re very happy with her development and looking forward to the next few weeks with this little lady.

To be continued...😎

SundancerS The White Diesel Haze Auto has developed wonderfully again this week. After we trained her quite thoroughly, she has now grown back into a little curly head. She is in top shape and looks perfectly healthy, so we decided to help her with shaping one more time and get her ready for the flowering stage. In terms of growth, she has remained rather compact so far. The branches are already surprisingly firm and relatively stiff; perhaps the White Widow genes are coming through a bit stronger here. Still, we expect a decent stretch, as with the high Sativa content, there should still be quite a bit of vertical growth potential. So far, she has taken everything completely relaxed. Now we are curious to see how she reacts to the final shaping and the transition into flowering. The next few weeks will show whether this little curly head will turn into a proper Diesel monster. We'll keep you updated! 😀

SundancerS The White Diesel Haze Auto has had a lot to do this week. It has visibly gained biomass, and the stretch has now kicked in. It still looks lush green and perfectly healthy. The spacing is pleasantly compact, and despite the increasing height growth, it's still very well under control. However, in terms of branches, it shows a slightly different character than its counterparts. They are rather firm, wiry, and surprisingly stable. So when it comes to training, it's all about caution instead of brute force. With a bit of finesse and careful FIMing, it can still be shaped well. You just have to explain what you want, not try to give it orders. Grower and plant need to get along, after all. A few smaller shoots had to be sacrificed, though. Never grow small buds! So, I tidied up a bit and aligned the canopy as evenly as possible. Now all the remaining shoots get the same chance to grow. And now comes the exciting part: The White Diesel Haze has finally entered full bloom! The flowering spectrum is activated, and the nutrients are now a bit "sharper." Now we want to see what the lady makes of it. What will be particularly interesting for us is what ATAMI's Bloombastic can later extract from this WDH. So far, the grow is surprisingly relaxed. Good growth, healthy plant, and no major issues. It's almost suspiciously quiet. But we won't complain. Now begins the phase that every grower waits for: more bloom, more aroma, and hopefully a good yield. We're excited to see what the White Diesel Haze will reveal in the coming weeks. There should be quite a bit happening! 😎

SundancerS What a week!!! The White Diesel Haze Auto has really kicked it into high gear in her second week of flowering. The small, compact lady has turned into a real flower ball in no time. It was getting cozy in the tent, so some space had to be created. During the little wellness treatment, a few too small and poorly positioned shoots had to go. It hurt a bit, but you know our motto: Never grow small buds! She's still processing the ATAMI nutrients really well, and her thirst has definitely increased. With that growth, it's no wonder. The lush green shows that she's quite happy with the current treatment. After the trimming, she looked more like a "plucked hedge" than a flowering plant for a moment. But the remaining shoots now have plenty of space and light again. Watering happens every two days, and there's something new to discover each time. At this pace, the WDH is slowly becoming a daily entertainment program. Now we're curious to see how much stretch is still to come. It certainly won't be boring with this lady. 😅

SundancerS New week, new luck! Our White Diesel Haze Auto has developed splendidly again. She's gained about 20 cm in height and has also spread out nicely. The leaf color still looks top healthy, and the little buds are really starting to impress. The narrow long leaves let the sativa genes of our lady shine beautifully. In terms of water consumption, she has also stepped it up this week. Every two days, we've been able to serve her a hefty 3 liters. The growth seems to be exactly to her liking. However, with the extra upward push, some smaller shoots have turned out to be candidates for removal. So today it was time to bring out the scissors again. Because as always: Never grow small buds! From above, all the final shoots should now be present. With that, the WDH is nicely tidied up and can hopefully direct its energy exactly where we want it: into the buds. Otherwise, we continue to eagerly watch the calendar. The dream of finishing the WDH by the end of October and still being compliant with the Sensi Seeds competition is getting a bit sporty. But we’re not giving up hope just yet. The lady can now simply show what she’s capable of. 😘

SundancerS The White Diesel Haze Auto is now fully in its element. The lady is really doing well and is currently enjoying about 1.5 liters of water a day. With that kind of growth, it's no wonder. Despite some pretty intense training, she's still producing new shoots and flower sites like crazy. A little tuft here, a new shoot there, and everything is full again. So we had to remove some shoots and leaves once more. We're slowly really hoping we've finally reached the final parking position. It has turned into a complete bouquet again, though. What brutal growth! The WDH seems to understand our scissors as more of a friendly suggestion now and just keeps going. Visually, it's becoming clearer where the Sativa part comes from. The narrow, almost cactus-like leaves look really good to us and give the plant a very elegant look now. The scent is also slowly becoming more intense. It's still a bit hard to describe, but right now it actually reminds us slightly of baby diapers. It might not sound like classic breeder marketing, but we're curious to see what develops from this. The stretch seems to be noticeably slowing down now. If she keeps reducing the pace, the height growth should be done in about a week. Then hopefully she can focus entirely on her actual task: Producing flowers and giving us as few new shoots to cut as possible 😂

@Riseandshine, Hi, we are very satisfied with her now. At first, we thought we might have "trained" her too much, but she didn't let that bother her and developed a very nice structure 😁
