gamberro I started this run with the classic paper towel method inside a closed container to keep humidity stable and avoid the towels drying out too quickly. After around 48 hours the seed had already cracked open and showed a really nice healthy taproot, much stronger than I expected this early, so I decided she was ready for the next step.
Once the root looked good enough, I moved the seed into a pre-hydrated jiffy pellet, keeping it lightly moist without soaking it. About 24 hours later the seedling was already breaking through the surface, helmet off and reaching for the light almost immediately. Fast, clean and vigorous start so far.
I left her inside the jiffy for one extra day to let the first roots establish properly before transplanting. After another 24 hours, she went straight into her final 15L pot to avoid unnecessary stress later on and let the roots expand freely from the beginning.
Everything up to this point has gone exactly how you want an autoflower start to go: quick germination, strong early root development and a healthy seedling with good energy right out of the gate. The Amnesia Haze genetics already seem eager to move fast.

gamberro Week 1 of veg has been running smoothly and right on track. The seedling has adapted well after the transplant into the 15L pot, showing no signs of stress and continuing steady vertical and lateral development. Each day there’s been visible progress, with new growth appearing almost constantly. The structure is starting to open up and the plant is beginning to establish its early framework.
The first true leaves expanded quickly, and shortly after, new sets started stacking at a consistent pace. It honestly feels like almost every day there’s something noticeably new to look at. The overall vigor is solid, with healthy color and strong posture, staying compact but actively pushing growth upwards.
I’ve been gradually increasing the watering with each passing day, matching the plant’s growing demand without overdoing it. The substrate is holding moisture well but drying a bit faster as the root system expands.
So far I’m avoiding any stress and just letting it do its thing, focusing on stability and consistency rather than pushing anything too early.
Conditions have been stable, and the plant seems to be responding perfectly to the environment. No issues, no setbacks, just steady development.
By the end of the week, it’s clearly transitioned from a fragile seedling into a small but confident young plant. Everything is going exactly as expected for Week 1 — clean, consistent growth and a strong foundation being built day by day.
