Apes Are Stronger Together (Feat. GG)

Phaleg Howdy, peculiar start for my lovely Gorilla auto. On Monday May 25, only one seed rose up from the ground, but stayed inside its shell. Later in the day I discovered that some bird pulled it out of the ground and was laying on the balcony. The only good thing in this is that the bird action, freed the seed from the shell and I planted it back. Since I cannot define the impact of the bird action on the seed, the same night I left in the wet paper, the third and last seed of the package. On Wednesday the seed had its nice white tail and was placed in the ground close to the injured one, hoping that one of this 2 will develop into a healthy plant. The other pot had one seed that came out later in the week, but developed into a nice seedling that is now taller of the first one that came out (see the uploaded photos of this week).

Phaleg Howdy! This week has been rainy and overcast for some days, others were instead warm and sunny. The plants grow slowly but steady. I have also a question for more expert growers: One pot has 2 seedlings, because the original one was pulled by a bird. I placed it back, but it was stayed the same, just cotiledona had worse colour and aspect, so I planted the third and last seed from the package. Now it comes my question, is it worth to remove that one that got trauma and keep the newer one? Thanks

Phaleg Warm, sunny and dry week here! They are growing, even the one that one initially pulled out by a bird is not recovering but still weaker than the replacement, so it will be removed. Height are 5cm and 7,5cm I am considering if trying to move the weaker to another pot where I was growing another strain that did not sprout yet, or just killing it

Phaleg Another warm week in the mountains, we had just one day of intense rain. Sun is very intense. The 3 plants have different heights and different stories: the tallest 15cm is grew from the initial 2 seeds, the medium one 12cm was planted later to replace the risk of losing the one that got pulled out from the bird, the shortest one, 5-6cm is the one that was pulled out from the bird and then placed back in the pot but clearly shows more trauma. they gets water in morning and in evening.

Phaleg Howdy fellow growers! Greetings from Italian mountains!!! This week has been mostly dry and warm, sun was intense and temperature on balcony were above +30° (86 F) Please congratulate with these girls that almost doubled their heights in the last week!!! Thanks also to FastBuds! [from 5-10 and 15cm last week, to 9-16 and 35cm this week] The 3 GG plants have different histories and different heights, one was in soil since beginning, 1 got pulled out by a bird twice and stayed very small (I am considering to chop it), the intermediate one was planted later and is catching up. 2 out of 3 GG plants got bending, following a guide that I found online. Basically when the plant has 5 nodes (each node is where the leaves start, not cotyledon), you take thumb and finger between the third and forth node, press a little and bend about 10-15° angle sideways. If the plant comes back the same is OK, if it stays slightly bend is also fine, if it stays completely bent 90° it was too much and for auto-flowering is not okay IMHO. Bending improves the lateral growth and reduce the top height, useful for stealthy growths.

Phaleg Howdy! This week I completed the bending training on the last one. I count this week as first flowering week because 2/3 are already showing flowering signs and the smallest has also its barbs. Height are now: 20cm, 26cm, 60cm Difference from last week is: (+11cm, +10cm, +25cm)

Phaleg Howdy fellow growers of the world, another warm and dry week on my Italian mountains, the heat is challenging and plants get water in morning and in evening, with soil dry at the end of each watering cycle. Their growth almost stopped with this heat + flowering and here are their heights 30cm - the 2 with difficult past, still show smaller size than the one that did not have any trauma 30cm - the 2 with difficult past, still show smaller size than the one that did not have any trauma 68cm - the tallest girl in town Like always, I am open to feedback, if you have considerations to share, I am here to listen and perhaps learn.

Phaleg Buongiorno amici coltivatori :) This week started warm and then has been going towards fresher temperature. My Gorilla autos stayed mostly the same height, (30-31-69 cm each, barely +1cm for them) Smell is nice for me and the buds are getting larger with time, expecially on the tallest one and you can see shiny tricomes on them. In one of the shorter ones, flowers started to open, despite it normally happens later in the end of the flowering. If I am right, it should be about half of the flowering. Phaleg Howdy, as requested by some fellow followers and growers, I took more media this time, to show the 2 shorter plants and the taller one. Photos have been taken in order to show the plant overall, the details of the colas and related tricomes and then there is a 4K video to better see the situation. I hope that you can like it ^^ Plants kept the same height: (31-31-69cm) = (12-12-27 inches) Temperatures were warm, most of the week above +30° (86F), air was dry and sun was strong. Plants got water early in the morning and in the evening after the sun. Please provide a feedback about the maturation of the plants, this should be the 5th completed flowering week. I am still struggling to understand why this year the plants sucked so much in size, even comparing with other autos I grew One plant has trauma from a bird pulling out the seed's plantling twice and I can understand, but what about the other replaced plant that shares the same height and did not have the same trauma? The only big change that I did this year was to follow this advice from YouTube, they explained since auto-flowering plants have a very short living cycle, to avoid the trauma of transplantation, was better to put the cracked seed directly into the soil of the final growing pot. So I did, because it sounded smart, but results still show a worsening compared to previous years.
