MyLittleGarden Vegetation Week 1 - April 20 – April 27, 2026 After successfully germinating, the Blue Sunset Sherbert spent its first real week under a small 30W grow light on an 18/6 light cycle. During this phase, the plant focused primarily on developing its first true leaf pair and building its root system. Despite its still small size, it already appeared vibrant and stable. The first leaves developed evenly and displayed a healthy green color. Overall, the plant gave a very calm and healthy impression for this early stage.

MyLittleGarden Vegetation Week 2 - 04/27 – 05/04/2026 In the second week of vegetation, the Blue Sunset Sherbert developed its second pair of leaves and slowly started to gain structure. The growth continued to be rather compact, without much stretching.

MyLittleGarden Vegetation Week 3 - 05/04 – 05/11/2026 The third vegetation week brought further growth and the development of the third leaf pair. The plant began to visibly become stronger. The growth remained compact. The leaves got bigger and the BSS looked healthy.

MyLittleGarden Vegetation Week 4 - 05/11 – 05/18/2026 This week was a bit calmer. The plant was outside for a while, which slowed down the growth. This week, I decided to plan a 60x60 tent with a bed for the Blue Sunset Sherbert. A small bed was ordered, and I also bought a used Greenception GC-4.

MyLittleGarden Vegetation Week 5 - May 18 – May 25, 2026 This week, the final setup was created. The small bed was built, the LED was installed, and the tent was fully set up. It was then placed into the bed. During the repotting, healthy and strong roots were visible. Additionally, it was topped. Since being placed in the bed, the leaves appear healthy and are slowly continuing to develop.

MyLittleGarden Vegetation Week 6 - 05/26 – 06/01/2026 In the sixth week of vegetation, the Blue Sunset Sherbert primarily received some peace to fully adapt to the new bed. After transplanting and topping, the focus was deliberately on allowing the plant to grow as stress-free as possible. Throughout the week, it visibly progressed. The number of new shoots increased significantly, and the leaf mass became noticeably denser. Despite the positive development, the height growth remained rather low. Overall, the plant only grew about four centimeters. However, the Blue Sunset Sherbert developed very compact and bushy. The internode distances remained short, and the leaves appeared small, robust, and strikingly dark green. Overall, the plant gave a healthy and vibrant impression. Several factors are likely playing a role simultaneously: - the nutrient-rich new Living Soil - high temperatures between 22–28°C - low humidity around 50% Watering was done once or twice this week, as the soil dried out relatively quickly due to the temperatures. Additionally, light low-stress training with clips was attempted. However, the shoots proved to be surprisingly stable, causing the clips to create some pressure points. One side shoot was slightly cracked and is currently only partially attached to the plant tissue. So far, though, the shoot shows no complete damage and remains vibrant. Overall, the little one is developing very well. The plant grows slowly but healthily and appears stable. Particularly the compact growth and increasing branching could become very interesting for the planned SCROG setup later on.

MyLittleGarden Vegetation Week 7 - 06/01 – 06/08/2026 In the seventh week of vegetation, the Blue Sunset Sherbert continued to develop very steadily and healthily. There were hardly any major interventions this week. Aside from some light low-stress training with clips and a bit of defoliation, the plant was mostly left alone to continue developing on its own. Additionally, it was watered once during the week with about two liters of water. No further measures were necessary. The plant currently looks very vigorous and shows strong, compact growth. Particularly noticeable is the bushy structure with many side branches and dense leaf mass. Despite its relatively low growth, it is increasingly spreading across the bed and slowly starting to take up the available space. The previous topping and light training seem to have suited the plant well. Overall, the Blue Sunset Sherbert continues to make a healthy and stable impression.

MyLittleGarden Vegetation Week 8 - 06/08 – 06/15/2026 In the eighth and final week of vegetation, not much work was done on the Blue Sunset Sherbert. The goal was to let the plant grow as stress-free as possible and to observe its natural development. During the week, it was watered once with about five liters of water. Additionally, light Low-Stress Training was applied, and some larger leaves were removed to open up the plant a bit and allow more light to reach the lower shoots. The Blue Sunset Sherbert developed exceptionally well this week. While it remained rather compact, it built a very nice and even structure. Particularly striking was the round, bushy growth form with numerous side shoots and dense branching. Overall, the plant looks healthy, vigorous, and very well-balanced. Originally, it was planned to continue training the plant using a SCROG net. However, during the vegetation phase, the decision was made to forgo the SCROG and instead finish the grow a bit more compactly and quickly. Since the plant had already developed a nice shape and was increasingly occupying the available space, the timing for the switch seemed appropriate. On 06/15/2026, the light cycle was finally switched from 18/6 to 12/12 hours to initiate flowering. Thus, the vegetation phase ends after a total of eight weeks, and the Blue Sunset Sherbert begins its first week of flowering. Now, in the coming weeks, it will show how it reacts to the change and what stretch and flower structure it will develop.

MyLittleGarden Flowering Week 1 - June 15 – June 22, 2026 With the start of this week, the Blue Sunset Sherbert was officially sent into flowering. On June 15, 2026, the light cycle was switched from 18/6 to 12/12 hours to initiate flowering. Aside from a watering with about four liters of water, the plant was mostly left alone. No further interventions or training measures took place. The focus was on observing the natural development after the switch. Already in the first week of flowering, the plant showed an impressive reaction to the light change. The stretch was noticeably stronger than expected. Within just seven days, the Blue Sunset Sherbert gained about 20 centimeters in height. At the same time, it not only increased in height but also visibly in volume. The previously bushy plant continued to spread out and increasingly filled the available space in the tent. Visually, the plant continues to present itself in excellent condition. The leaves show a rich, healthy green without any visible signs of deficiency, burns, or stress. Overall, the plant appears extremely vigorous and strong. Particularly pleasing was the observation of the first flower sites. The first white pistils appeared at numerous shoot tips, allowing the sex to be clearly determined. After the previous seed of this strain was male, there was some uncertainty until the end. The joy was even greater when the plant turned out to be clearly female. This lays the foundation for a promising further development. Now it will be exciting to observe how long the stretch lasts, how the flower clusters develop, and how the little Greenception GC4 will perform in the further course of the flowering phase.

MyLittleGarden Flowering Week 2 - 06/22 – 06/29/2026 In the second week of flowering, the Blue Sunset Sherbert continued its strong stretch. In just seven days, it grew from 48 cm to 80 cm, adding an impressive 32 cm in height. During this week, the plant was watered twice with four liters each time. Additionally, it was generously defoliated, and some lower, poorly lit shoots were removed to improve light distribution and air circulation. The plant continues to be in excellent condition. It is robust, vibrant, shows no signs of deficiency, and is developing numerous beautiful flower sites. It now fills the entire bed area. There are only about ten centimeters left to the LED, so the lamp may need to be hung higher if it continues to stretch.

MyLittleGarden Flowering Week 3 - 06/29 – 07/06/2026 In the third week of flowering, the Blue Sunset Sherbert continued its stretch and grew another approximately ten centimeters. The highest bud tips are now very close to the LED. This week, the plant was generously watered with 9 liters of water. Additionally, some leaves were removed to allow the lower flower shoots to receive better light. The plant continues to look very vibrant, strong, and healthy. It is now filling the tent quite well and is visibly developing nicely. In the coming week, it will be important to observe whether the highest shoots need to be gently guided to the side or if the lamp needs to be hung slightly higher to maintain enough distance from the tips.

MyLittleGarden Flowering Week 4 - 07/06 – 07/13/2026 The stretch is now mostly complete. This week, the plant has only grown about 3 cm and is now visibly putting its energy into bud formation. The buds are developing very evenly on all branches, the white pistils are becoming more numerous, and the flowers are slowly starting to gain volume. The plant remains very vigorous, showing a rich green color and displaying no signs of deficiency. The highest head bud is now only about 5 cm below the LED. If the distance decreases further due to the swelling buds, I will carefully tie down the branches sideways next week. Overall, I have watered 11 liters and performed a light defoliation. Otherwise, the week went smoothly, and the development in the bed is still very promising.

MyLittleGarden Flowering Week 5 - July 13 – July 20, 2026 Aside from some slight defoliation and about 9 liters of water, nothing else was done. The buds have clearly gained size and structure this week. More and more connected flower clusters are forming on the branches, slowly developing longer colas. The resin production has noticeably increased. The sugar leaves are already heavily covered in trichomes and feel distinctly sticky. The scent is also becoming more intense. By now, the Blue Sunset Sherbert is emitting a pleasant, strong citrus aroma. The first white pistils are also slowly starting to turn orange. Overall, it continues to show very vigorous growth, with dark green leaves and even flower development. So far, the flowering is going exactly as desired, and I’m curious to see how big and dense the buds will get in the coming weeks.

MyLittleGarden Flowering Week 6 - 07/20 – 07/27/2026 In the sixth week of flowering, I just let the plant keep growing and only watered it again at the end of the week with about 7 liters of water. Other than that, there was nothing more to do. It seems to have reached its final height of around 94 cm and is hardly growing taller now. To prevent the tallest buds from hanging directly under the LED, I carefully tied the upper shoots slightly to the side. This way, the lower flowers also get a bit more light. Now the plant is putting all its energy into the buds. The buds are becoming denser and firmer week by week, the resin production is visibly increasing, and the smell is getting more intense. It now smells pleasantly sweet, citrusy, and slightly spicy. Overall, it still looks really healthy. The leaves are a nice dark green, there are no signs of deficiency, and I’m curious to see how the buds will develop further in the coming weeks.

MyLittleGarden Blütewoche 7 - 27.07. – 03.08.2026 Diese Woche war wieder ziemlich entspannt. Ich habe die Pflanze einfach wachsen lassen und sie nur einmal mit etwa 9 Litern Wasser gegossen. Mehr war eigentlich gar nicht nötig. Die Buds legen jetzt richtig zu. Sie werden immer kompakter und härter und sind inzwischen schon echt schön anzusehen. Auch die Harzproduktion nimmt ordentlich Fahrt auf – die Zuckerblätter sind mittlerweile richtig schön mit Trichomen überzogen und kleben schon gut. Der Geruch wird ebenfalls immer intensiver. Mittlerweile geht er für mich klar in eine süßlich-zitronige Richtung, dazu kommt noch eine leicht würzige Note. Riecht auf jeden Fall richtig angenehm. Der Pflanze selbst geht's nach wie vor super. Sie sieht gesund aus und zeigt keine Mängel. Nur die obersten Blätter haben durch den geringen Abstand zur Lampe leichte Stress- bzw. Verbrennungsspuren bekommen. Das lässt sich in dem kleinen Zelt leider kaum noch vermeiden, stört den Grow aber bisher nicht wirklich. Ich finde, sie entwickelt sich richtig gut. Die Buds haben eine schöne Form, sind gleichmäßig über die Triebe verteilt und werden von Woche zu Woche dicker. Jetzt heißt es eigentlich nur noch abwarten und ihr beim Ausreifen zusehen.

MyLittleGarden Flowering Week 8 - 03.08. – 10.08.2026 It's really heading towards the final stretch now. This week I mostly left the Blue Sunset Sherbert alone and only watered it once with about 9 liters of water. The buds have become noticeably denser, harder, and heavier. By now, you can feel the weight on the branches, which are slowly leaning down. The white hairs have mostly turned orange to brown, and overall the flowers just look significantly more mature and compact. In terms of smell, it remains surprisingly pleasant and rather subdued. Right at the buds, there's a sweet-fruity and slightly spicy aroma, but when opening the tent, the smell doesn't overwhelm you. It might also be that I've gotten so used to the smell that I hardly notice it anymore. You can also slowly tell that it's nearing the end. The leaves are increasingly turning yellow and starting to curl up in places. The trichomes currently show a mix of clear and milky, with some amber heads. Since I would like to have a higher amber ratio, it will definitely get a bit more time. But it shouldn't take much longer. Now it's really just about observing, waiting, and seeing when the right harvest time is for me.
