MimosaSunriseXXLGuy Hi,
I would like to share my experience in growing some Sensi x Champelli Mimosa Sunrise XXL Automatic. This grow was started indoor and will transition to Outdoors once the plants get somewhat established in their new 30L pots. It is my first grow outdoors since 2008!
In the meantime you will have to suffer through the horrible and overexposed HPS pictures, but alas I have no pictures of the peat pellets.
Edit: That's where the cats came in, so that you have something cute to look at. The black one is a male Maine Coon born in May 2024, on the first picture he is very young and still with the breeder. The red one is a redscue cat born in 2017 or 18 according to our vet, no-one really knows. What is important is that he has finally found a good home with us :)
The seeds where placed in peat pellets the 1st of May and 5 out of 5 germinated after 5 days, but one was very weak, never developed and shriveled up since.
Fine by me since we are legally allowed to grow 4 plants per household where I live.
So far so good, here is a little explanation of my setup:
I'm using my vintage DIY insulated growbox equipped with 2x 600w HPS GreenPower lamps on magnetic ballasts, one currently in service for the lighting.
Yes I know very well how inefficient and overpowered those are, especially for 4 small plants, but I'm somewhat short on money and still have all that stuff and many more spare lamps, so why not, I used only 270 KWh so far and it will only be for 1.5 more weeks :)
Also free heating over most of the night and no pests like those hungry snails indoors.
The ventilation consists of a externally mounted 20kg active charcoal filter with a 250mm flange and a 1100m³/h radial fan in an insulated wooden box, controlled by 2 Danfoss industrial mechanical thermostats and a DIY 3 speed dimmer system, with optional heating. There are also 2 filters for the air admission.
The box also has provisions for Hydro and a automatic irrigation system for coco choir, but that will not be needed this time.
The 4 plants are in their 2l pots on these pics, with 100% Bio certified soil. Lighting is set to 20h on, 4h off. I lightly water, just enough.
In the growbox itself the ventilation is assured by a no-name Chinese oscillating tower fan for this grow.

MimosaSunriseXXLGuy One of them got a bit lanky, I guess it was because the germination in a Tupperware on the windowsill wasn't the optimal way to do it... (edit: But now the lanky one is the tallest and best developed)
What it looked like May 13th: This photo was taken 5 days after the peat pellets where potted in the 2l pots.

MimosaSunriseXXLGuy This was May 20th, establishing themselves in their 2l pots. Watering is now 0.6l/plant, when the soil feels dry and the pots get lighter.

MimosaSunriseXXLGuy This is May 24th, they have been repotted in their final 30l pots this morning. Watering was +- 1,5l per pot, around the outline of the 2l pots. Recalibrated my Ph Meter and set the nutrient solution to 6,2. Now we wait, (edit) the cats are guarding the box as well, nothing escapes their eagle vision and built-in high-sensitivity directional microphones, fierce little predators. For my first legal grow in 2023 I had problems with mice in the hayloft of our old 1758 house where the growbox is located, well now there are no more mice around... they became playthings and ultimately tasty little snacks😼
For size reference, the pots have a diameter of 40cm. So that you can size up things, on photos it is not always easy to show the scale of things.
Soil mix used: it is pure living soil from vegetal compost, it even had some worms when I got it at the nearby tree nursery, I mixed in 20% pumice granulate for drainage, aeration and to get some weight into the pots, since they will be outdoor soon. Washing that stuff was a real PITA, now the growbox is full of sand, dust and stuff, it even blocked the drain partially...
Update 25th of May: added new images.

MimosaSunriseXXLGuy Week 4, 29th of May: Pre-bloom and stretching.
Overall they grow well and they seem to like the new 30l pots, the largest is 30cm now. What a diference to the 24th when they got repotted into the large pots.
But some plants show slight signs of overfeeding, although I never added nutrients apart from Biobizz CalMag 2 ml/l and Biobizz Root Juice 2-3 ml/l until now at EC 0,7mS for the solution.
Since the Calmag is nearly empty, I had planned to switch to Canna Mono Ca and Mono Mg with the next watering, because our tap water is very mild and contains only 21mg/l of Ca and 10mg/l of MG at Ph7,3 and an EC of 0,4mS/cm.
I wanted to optimize the Cal Mag situation this time, in the past I always had problems with the premixed Calmag solutions. They will get the Root-Juice one last time, since the first pistils have appeared on the nodes.
After the bad weather & storms announced for this weekend until mid next week have passed they will go outdoors, finally. Nice south oriented place with sun all day. I will have to shade them the first few days, but I think they will do great.
