ThePhenoHunter Day 50-something... We are racing the winter freeze to the finish line, and it’s getting tight. The heavy bloom cocktail of EHG and MPK absolutely loaded these colas, turning them into massive, resin-dripping weights. The stems started bowing out like a skate deck under a heavy landing, forcing me to tie and anchor the main branches along the way just to prevent a catastrophic snap. Everything is rigged, secured, and upright, keeping the airflow moving through these dense pockets. Next week, we drop the heavy feed and switch to the ripener to tell her it’s closing time. After that, a strict one-week flush of pure, pH-balanced water to starve her out for that clean burn and white ash. T-minus two weeks to the chop. We are watching the trichomes like a hawk—the second they hit milky with a splash of amber, the heavy scissors come out. Stay warm, stay frosty.

ThePhenoHunter Our Creamy Kees by Super Sativa Seed Club is looking incredibly icy and heavy, boasting gorgeous purple hues on the sugar leaves while executing one final weight-gain swell. Trichomes are checking in as mostly milky with zero amber in sight, meaning she is perfectly positioned for the final stretch. Over the next 48 hours, we are letting the pots dry out to finish processing yesterday's molasses feast before launching a 3-day Clean Flush to strip out residual sugars and nutrient salts. We will wrap up the final 72 hours on plain, pH-balanced water to force that beautiful autumn fade, guaranteeing a smooth, white-ash burn and unlocking that signature sweet, creamy terpene profile just in time for chop day!

ThePhenoHunter The Creamy Kees is officially entering its final maturation window, marked by the deep purple coloration and heavy, resinous development indicative of this genetics' elite status. To maximize the final quality, the feeding regimen is shifting to a two-stage finish: we will begin with a 50/50 blend of Ripener and Bloom to initiate the final push, transitioning to 100% Ripener for the subsequent days to solidify bud density and terpene expression. Following this, the final 7 to 10 days will be dedicated to a strict flush with pH-balanced water to ensure a clean, smooth burn. As the plant begins its natural senescence—indicated by the rapid yellowing and shedding of fan leaves—we are targeting an estimated harvest date between June 18th and June 20th, 2026. Constant vigilance of the trichomes will remain the ultimate guide, ensuring that we capture the plant at its absolute peak of potency before the final cycle concludes.

ThePhenoHunter The journey is reaching its peak. This week marks a significant transition as the plants enter their final days. The flowers have filled out beautifully, showing deep, complex colors and a heavy coating of frosty trichomes. To ensure the cleanest, smoothest, and most flavorful final product, the final phase has officially begun. Key Actions Taken Initiated the Flush: Switched entirely to plain, pH-balanced water. Flushing out the medium now will force the plants to consume their remaining internal nutrient reserves, breaking down stored sugars and chlorophyll for a pristine, smooth-burning end product. Moved to the Dark Room: The plants have been moved indoors into a dedicated, completely dark environment. Keeping them in total darkness for the final 24 to 48 hours before the chop triggers a final stress response, encouraging a last-minute push in resin and terpene production. Prepping for the Chop: This dark phase serves as the final rest period. Up next is the harvest, where they will be chopped, trimmed, and hung to begin the slow, controlled drying process. Observations & Metrics Bud Development: Massive, dense floral structures with excellent trichome density. The calyxes are swollen, and the sugar leaves are displaying beautiful deep, dark autumn fades. Aroma: Exceptionally pungent, loud, and rich. The terpene profile is at its absolute peak right now. Environment (Dark Space): Keeping a close eye on humidity levels in the indoor space to keep the air moving and prevent any moisture traps during these final dark hours. Next Steps: Monitor the trichomes one last time, prepare the drying racks/lines, and get ready for chop day. The hard work is about to pay off!

ThePhenoHunter After a week in the dark, the Creamy Kees tree finally met its end. It’s currently in the drying net for the next 7–14 days. It had plenty of time to contemplate its life choices in the pitch black before the chop—talk about a dark ending to a "Creamy" story.
