Automatics_Gourmets Apart from a few pesky pests and the delayed watering due to work, the plant is doing quite well so far. 🙃

Automatics_Gourmets Just as with Saturn in the tent, the RVA shows an extreme thirst for water. Apart from that, she is growing merrily along. 🌊🌴

Automatics_Gourmets The little one clearly struggled with last week’s extreme heatwave, which slowed her growth down a bit. 🔥 Plenty of water and a good flow of air helped at least a little. 💦💦💦

Automatics_Gourmets Fortunately, the heatwave is over and the sweetie has had a good stretch. 🌱🌴 Water consumption remains quite high, which is also down to the unsuitable fabric pot (too shallow, too wide). 🌊 The photos are usually taken shortly after the dark phase, which further emphasises the impression of the drooping leaves. 🌿

Automatics_Gourmets The plant seems to have gradually reached its target height, and as temperatures rise, its water consumption is increasing again.🔥💦 On day 49, Venus wanted to do something nice for the plant and gave it a gentle misting. 🚿 Unfortunately, the spray bottle must have been left in the sun for too long, or perhaps the water was off, because within 12 hours most of the leaves had ‘wilted away’... 🌡️ Our whole team is feeling for it and we hope the sweetie will recover. 🌈💚

Automatics_Gourmets It was shocking to see the damage that ‘dirty’ water can cause to leaves in just 24 hours. 🚿 Venus has removed most of the damaged leaves, and the sweetie seems to be recovering a little. 🛌💚

Automatics_Gourmets After removing the damaged leaves, no further problems have arisen.? Although flower production has decreased, the scent is becoming increasingly fruity. 🍏🍋🍊

Automatics_Gourmets Venus didn't expect the Red Velvet Auto to recover so well. 👩‍⚕️💚 Even though the buds look relatively unremarkable, they've actually gained a tremendous amount of weight. ️ So much so that two of the outer branches snapped off - it wasn't a pretty sight.?😳 Anyway, with the help of a little wire, it's standing tall again. ⛓️🔩

Automatics_Gourmets The plant is nearing the end of its life and was watered for the last time today. 💐🍂💧 In a few days’ time, Venus will find out how much the plant weighs, despite the mishap in week 7.?
