Always a pleasure growing Dinafem seeds. I picked this strain because its supposed to be very mold resistive and I'm a huge cookies fan! who isn't right?
This one over grew her little planter and just kept getting taller. I will have to give her some support soon.
Transplanted to her final pot on day 3
This one really loves the outdoors. No matter the weather conditions, she endures. I gave her some much needed support for her extremely long stalk. One of the fastest growing plants out of this batches 4 photo- periods. Going to do a full salt flush next week.
The plant finally stopped growing a tall stalk and started building a beautiful canopy. She looks like a sativa in structure although the strain leans more to an indica hybrid. She just has a couple of leaves on and already her smell! ohh man she smells so damn dank. Instantly brings back some good memories :D Gonna top after the next node!
Been a good week on the whole, except for a little less sunshine. She's spreading out more and getting good growth from the bottom axillary buds. She got a lite foliar spray of grow nutes in day 25 which was the first feeding. I'll continue spraying once in every 3 days. She has also been pinched (FIMed) on day 26 after 5 nodes. I can see calyxes at the nodes which I'm slightly worried about. I hope she vegs for 4 more weeks before turning to flowering stage.
I was afraid this would happen and it did. The plant has started flowering a month earlier than planned and I think the main cause is the new green house I've built that has blocked 20% of direct sunlight and bad cloudy weather. She's gonna end up a dwarf :| On the bright side I get to taste the buds on her faster
OG Cooks has grown a bit taller since hitting flowering but I think that's about it as far as growth goes. She is staring to put on weight and the bud sites are swelling up is size. Now its time to sit back and watch ^^
She's putting on weight in the buds and has the best aroma among the others. The smell is very much like strong coffee and chocolate. She has been exposed to direct rain which caused a slight burn on the flower pistils, but she seems to be recovering.
I love the feeling of waking up in the morning to the smell of this plant. It smells like strong coffee with hazelnuts and its one of the stinkiest plants I've grown, even more than the Deep Cheese (Indoor growers be warned).
cookies started flowering a week before the rest of the crowd, so she is leading in the race to harvest so far. The pistils are starting to brown and she's getting some compact buds by the look of it.
Made it all the way across 10 weeks and now things are looking not so good. The plant has put on lots of weight on the top like a light house and the bad weather with 45+kmph winds have really given her a beating. Hoping she finishes of in the next 2 weeks or so before anything else can arise.
exactly what i expected and dread came to reality. the super dense buds on this plant started rotting from the inside and I saw a little white on the buds that gave it away. I cut most of the plant out in two sets and just a little is left. Hopefully I get a taste and this one is definitely gonna be in my summer grow. 😢
