Leprechauns_Garden Hello dear Gromies out there! 👋 First of all, I want to apologize for not posting anything for the last 2–3 weeks. 🙈 I just had so much going on and didn't really have the time to take care of the ladies like I wanted to, nor to document everything properly. Now I've finally found a bit more time and of course, I want to bring you all up to date. 😊 I hope you forgive me for the little break and continue to stick around. Thank you so much! 💚 🍹 Mimosa 🍹 So, what else can I really say? 😄 The lady has literally exploded. She's definitely not a sensitive plant, but a real Mimosa! She's now about 1.30 meters tall, really nicely branched out, and currently in the first week of flowering. 🌸 She's definitely making me want more, and I'm curious to see how she develops further. 😊 She has withstood every storm 🌧️💨 and just kept going full throttle. A really strong lady! 💪👠 In that sense, Let IT grow 🌱🌿💚

Leprechauns_Garden 🌱 Small bi-weekly update from my ladies – somehow this rhythm seems to be settling in quite nicely. 😄 So let’s see what’s been happening in the last two weeks! 🍹 Mimosa 🍹 Yes, again – what can I say? 😄 The Mimosa is now in full bloom, looks really good, and is already producing some nice resin. ✨🌸 From the current weekly status, the buds could maybe be a little thicker. But honestly: West balcony, just a bit of soil, hardly any fertilizer so far, and overall really low effort – for that, I think she looks damn good. ☀️🌱 The first one or two pistils are already turning slightly brown, the side branches look great, and she has also started to slowly eat her lower fan leaves. 🍂 That’s why I won’t be giving any more additional nitrogen. If anything, there will only be a bit of Bloom and maybe some PK 13-14 or Green Sensation – we’ll see. So far, she’s doing really well even without extra fertilizer in her 20-liter pot. The lady is definitely standing strong! 💪🌱 And then that smell! 😍🍊 Truly incredible. She smells beautifully intense like orange – and anyone who knows bitter orange marmalade knows exactly what direction this is going. That slightly bitter, intense orange scent is just fantastic. 🍊🤤 I’m really curious to see what comes out in the end! 👀🌸 In this sense Let IT grow 🌱🌿💚

Leprechauns_Garden 🌱 A little bi-weekly update from my ladies – this time with a bit of vacation delay. 😄🏖️ I'm back refreshed and, as it looks, the ladies have made good use of the time as well. 🌱☀️ 🍹 Mimosa 🍹 The Mimosa is still standing tall! 😎🌱 She actually has the most side shoots of all the ladies and correspondingly a lot of beautiful colas that have developed upwards on the individual shoots. Plus, there's a really nice main cola – overall, just a great sight! 🌸✨ By now, she's also slowly starting to fade. 🍂 I can observe more and more leaves turning yellow from the bottom up and gradually being "eaten" away. So the transition into autumn has definitely begun. 🍁💚 In line with that, the trichomes are looking really good now. 🔍✨ They have developed a slightly consistently milky character, and here and there on the sugar leaves, you can already spot some amber-colored spots. She's really progressing beautifully! And the smell... my goodness! 😍🍊 Exactly as described by the breeder Zamnesia: classic orange zest, bitter orange, and somehow that scent of an Italian orange grove. 🇮🇹🍊🌿 Plus, there's this very slight spicy note – scent-wise, it's truly top-notch for me! Also, in her overall development, she's doing really well and seems to be impressed by nothing anymore. 💪🌱 She had a bit of a caterpillar visit too 🐛😅, but nowhere near the extent of the 🍑 Passion Fruitz 🍑. It obviously didn't bother her at all – she's just continuing to do her thing. One thing I've noticed, though: I feel like the nights on the west/southwest balcony are getting a bit too cold for her. 🌙 And because of that, she has actually started to purple. 💜 And honestly: It looks beautiful! 😍 This purple together with the trichomes, which shine really silvery on top, is currently a little highlight. 💜✨ This is just the beginning, and I'm extremely curious to see how the coloring will develop further. Smell is on point. 🍊 Flower quantity is on point. 🌸 Development is on point. 💚 I'm excited! And if the taste at the end is even close to what the smell promises right now, the Mimosa could actually give my Passion Fruitz some serious competition. 😄🍊 In this spirit Let IT grow 🌱🌿💚 P.S.: A little subtle advertising for a big German gardening supply manufacturer. 😇🌱 My wireless irrigation system without a power connection worked excellently and easily covered twelve days of pot watering. Leprechauns_Garden 🌿🍃🍂 Harvest Time 🍂🍃🌿 🍹 Mimosa 🍹 Today was the day: Harvest! ✂️😍 After a total of 14 weeks – from seed germination to today’s harvest day – the 🍹 Mimosa 🍹 has reached its destination. And honestly: What a lady! 🍊🌿 The morning's final trichome check was actually a bit surprising. 🔍✨ I think it could have been harvested maybe two or three days earlier. Especially in the upper area, it was already quite amber in some spots. But it doesn’t matter – in the end, for me, it’s the mix that makes the overall picture. Milky, decent amber, and here and there still a few clear trichomes: Everything is actually there. 😄 On the lower popcorn buds, you can still find more clear to milky trichomes as expected, while some older sugar leaves on top are already quite a bit further along. It’s actually a really nice natural distribution of the different ripeness stages. And its growth was impressive anyway. 🌱 It formed an incredible number of side branches – truly almost textbook hemp growth. Plus, a brutal main cola and more flower clusters everywhere. It feels like it made the most of the available pot and soil volume compared to all the ladies. 💪🌿 Just a reminder: This all took place on a west-facing balcony. In the last two weeks, there were about 6–8 hours of direct sunlight ☀️, before that in the height of summer, sometimes about 10–12 hours daily. It was grown in a 20-liter pot with my self-recycled old BioBizz grow soil – although not much of the original soil was left by now. 😄 It was amended with garden compost, worm humus, dolomite lime, horn meal, and rock dust. Also added were earthworms ?, microbes, and algae. Then it was watered, left to sit for about a week, mixed again, turned, aerated, and finally supplemented with some perlite. Watering was mostly done with rainwater 🌧️💧 and, when none was available, with regular tap water. Only around the middle to end of the flowering did I add a few Plagron products: Alga Bloom from the Natural line as well as Power Buds, Green Sensation, and Sugar Royal. And even here, only twice at the recommended dosage. So the soil did a pretty big part of the work itself. 🌱 But back to the harvest! ✂️🍂 Today, the 🍹 Mimosa 🍹 was cut, wet-trimmed, and – this time I didn’t forget the scale! 😂 – weighed right away. The scale fluctuated a bit between about 178 and 188 g. In the end, it was around 180 g wet weight. ⚖️🌿 And considering that I really didn’t do much with her and she had to endure some pretty nasty bad weather phases, I find that incredibly impressive. For me, the 🍹 Mimosa 🍹 is also excellent for a Central European summer grow. ☀️🌧️ If you can provide her with even more direct sunlight, I’m pretty convinced that this genetics can really rock the place. 😄 She definitely handled the bad weather excellently. However, towards the end, it started to feel really autumnal. 🍂 The nighttime temperatures dropped to about 6–8 °C, and at some point, the lady began to beautifully purple. 💜 First dark violet, then almost black in some spots – at the same time, a noticeable autumn fade set in. Visually, together with the silvery shining trichomes, it was really beautiful. 💜✨ And this morning, the trichome picture felt like it finally screamed: “Damn it – have you forgotten me? Harvest me already!” 😂✂️ Said and done. However, trimming kept us quite busy. 😅 We spent significantly longer than two hours on it. A small downside for me was the leaf-to-bud ratio. The buds were somewhat airier and more spread out and had relatively many individual, fine sugar leaves. Therefore, we worked quite generously during the wet trim and preferred to remove a bit more than leave it. ✂️🌿 Still, in the end, these nearly 180 g wet landed on the scale – so definitely a decent amount of material! And resin? My goodness. 😂✨ While cutting, it really stuck nicely. From the fresh sugar leaves and the material on my hands, I almost made a whole gram of beautiful, caramel-colored hand charas. ?✨ It looked really damn delicious – also visible in the pictures. The remaining visual impressions can of course be found in the pictures and videos. 📸🎥 It was an incredible joy to watch the 🍹 Mimosa 🍹 grow. And her smell is truly fantastic! 😍🍊 Almost like from the textbook or the breeder description: Bitter orange, fresh orange zest, a whole citrus grove, and underneath that a slightly fizzy, almost alcoholic undertone. 🍊🌿 Incredibly delicious. I’m extremely curious to see what this strain will be like after drying and curing. If this aroma develops nicely, it could become really interesting in terms of flavor. 😍 Mimosa Automatic from Zamnesia Seeds – for me, a really great choice for the lazy grower on some shabby balcony. 😂🌱 Little effort, decent weight on the scale, and a scent that already makes you really excited for the final result.
