DutchBarnacle Nothing out of the ordinary, zip lock bag with a seed wrapped in a damp paper towel. Took two days to germinate, but we caught her late as she already had a sizable taproot and also was in the proces of shedding her shell.
We planted the 5cm tall seedling in the canvas grow bag and carefully pressed down to snug her in. We put a humidity dome on top and left her outside for a couple of days.
Eventually, as the weather was overcast for quite some days and it kept raining, we moved her inside the growtent after we gave that growtent a clean-up.

DutchBarnacle Week 1!
She's up and running, we'll probably re-run last grow's strategy and see how far that takes us. We're very excited in regards to this classic and we have high hopes - it's hard to come by White Widow through the usual channels these days.
We'll add more images during the week.
Update: it's Saturday now and three things worth mentioning. First, she's coming along nicely. Second, her leaves feel velvety unlike anything we've grown thus far. And third, her canvas bag wasn't able to hold 4L of water so it's been sitting in a pool for the past two days, the White Widow Automatic doesn't seem to mind it though.
As for nutrition, we reckon there's still a lot of nutrition in the soil for this and next week.
In regards to training. You can clearly see that she's starting her third pair of nodes, we could in theory remove the two most upper leaves but we reckon she could use all the canopy she has currently because of her rather small size.
