The smell of hay is a byproduct of the breakdown of chlorophyll - which on itself does not have a smell - and the dissapearance of that smell means that your buds have dried enough. So as long as you smell hay, it's best to pay a bit more attention to airing/drying the buds. I'm curious to what the current state of your buds is!

I like the new lighting, are you reflecting light off of something to luminate from the bottom of the plants? Also, looking at the leaves, I can't help but think there's a slight Nitrogen toxicity happening - shiny leaves and rather dark green colour. Lastly, I'm wondering which camera you're using for the photo's.
