Chamalla Didn't have a diary for this plant previously but felt she deserved one, so I'm diary-ing a run with 4 clones. These clones rooted a week ago and have just been potted up, topped, and cleaned up a little. I will be topping them 4 times in total, the last topping right upon flip to 12/12, and they will still end up tall AF. It's a ridiculously keen plant.

Chamalla The two that rooted a bit later are unsurprisingly behind the first two, by about a topping or two. That's fine, as long as all cuttings keep showing the same vigour.

Chamalla About time they're potted up ... doing 2 of them this week, the other 2 the next. 1st one actually has her final 16 growth tips now and went into the flowering tent, the other one is going to sit under the eye-sore LED for another week. I reckon that cutting 3 and 4 will veg another 2 weeks or so.

Chamalla That's them all put under 12/12 where they will stay for a whopping 3 months. Yes, they are tiny for now, but they will stretch quite a bit during the first month of flower. 3 of them are in my 5 gal no-till planters, however, the 4th one is in a 2 gallon with recycled veganic soil - it's a test run for comparison.

Chamalla Really hoping they're done with their flower stretch now, the light above them only has another 30 centimetres it can go up. The harvest I look forward to the most, this is my favourite plant. Added stakes to rein them in a bit, will add supports as plants add weight.

Chamalla Okay, I think they've stopped growing. The light fixture is hugging the ceiling of the tent. The earlier two (corner ones) have started fattening up.

Chamalla Yeah, they stopped growing now. I will need to stabilise the colas more, they're already bending dangerously and have only begun to develop buds.

Chamalla It's a long slog. Still 3-4 weeks to go at the very least, I reckon. They've filled out a bit more but the weight will still keep going up. I've grown these several times already and still think I haven't yet given them long enough flower times. Maybe I'll add another 2 weeks for these.

Chamalla 2 of them have been chopped, the other two will go this weekend. 2 new clones have been flowering for a few weeks now. Still stretching. Not done any training on them, will see how tall they get. :-O

Chamalla Not put any weight in. It's not a big yielder, despite the size, buds are airy and spaced apart. But the smoke is such a good start into the day that none of that matters. Quality medicine.

slow af,flowering starts really late, this must be a true landrace.and it looks great yeah
Chamalla
Chamallacommented6y ago
@HighRoller909, I think the pheno I have leans heavily towards its Malawi parent, aye. I can taste and smell the Haze a bit once it's dried and cured, but the growth is really like you say, like a landrace sativa. Expecting to harvest these late September - early October, giddy with anticipation.

@Chamalla,did you do antything special to make them grow this tall or just let it go.manifold looks really good on them
Chamalla
Chamallacommented6y ago
@HighRoller909, no, nothing I did, it's just a really really *really* vigorous plant - the tallest one is actually ~1.5m but I used the 'smallest' one for the overall height measurement, and it's a bit over a metre. The manifold sadly did not result in even heights, all of them ended up developing a main cola again. Definitely a plant that would be happier grown in a SoG setup. Oh well. Next time. =) I may put 2 of the re-vegged clones into flower in a couple weeks and see how it behaves with a lot less veg time.

nice nutrient schedule :))
Chamalla
Chamallacommented6y ago
@HighRoller909, that is only half in jest: I've never had a plant that grew so fast and so big on so little nitrogen.
HighRoller909
HighRoller909commented6y ago
@Chamalla, patience is what grows them fast.

beautiful!! did you cross this yourself?
Chamalla
Chamallacommented6y ago
@HighRoller909, haha no, that's ACE Seeds' work of art, I just got really lucky that the one seed I had from them was such a phenomenal, err, phenotype. It just takes long to flower. Next time I'm going to put a clone or two of her in 12/12 right from root - I suspect there's a danger that she might be a killer SoG plant that's faster to harvest overall (and still yielding more) than the indicas that want to veg for 2 months before their 'short flower time' of another 2 months. <.< ;) I have cuttings rooting right now, but since they were taken during flower they need to re-veg first before I can take cuttings with the right balance of hormones in them. Or something. Soon. :)

@Chamalla,sure they have beautiful crosses.I love Ace.I heard Malawi has extra long flowering but I bet its worth it

Well done, beautiful!! Ace products are so good.Malawi is a big brother on their catalog,I've not smoked it yet but I'm thinking about growing a cross of it in near future like golden tiger or killer a5 haze. Well done again, you well deserved it mate.It took 13 weeks of flower right?
Chamalla
Chamallacommented6y ago
@HighRoller909, thanks min. Aye, 13 weeks was what I had them in the tent for now. I suppose they could benefit from another few weeks, but then the purely cerebral effect might start taking on some couch lock notes. =)
