We are currently dialing things in at an 18/6 light cycle, keeping the ambient humidity sitting at a comfortable 60%, and providing a gentle, weak breeze to help build up that stem strength before the real explosive growth kicks off. ​The structure is looking spot on, but now that they're under the main lights, the real fun begins. ​ What’s on the Menu? ​Now that they're stepping into a controlled environment, we’re shifting gears from basic maintenance to true biological optimization. Green_Claws Flower Week 8 ​Apologies for the radio silence lately, but here is the current status report for the tent. ​The Timeline & Strain Status ​The Main Plant: We are officially in Flower Week 8. She is taking her time reaching the finish line, and with her early loss of color, she is moving at a slower, more deliberate pace. Realistically, she has about 3 weeks left before she is ready for harvest. ​The Cheese Sisters: Meanwhile, the two Cheese plants are ripening much faster and are sitting at about 1 week away from the chop mostly down to habi g a shorter flower period. We are managing staggered finishing times across the tent. ​The Male Casuallity: Looking back, one plant turned out to be male just after entering the tent in Week 6 of veg. It was promptly binned and finally died off completely by Week 8 of that timeline. ​Pest Management: Spider Mites We are currently dealing with a spider mite incursion in the tent, which has hit this primary plant the hardest. The other plants have smaller, isolated patches that are being managed manually. Because we are only about 3 weeks out from harvest, heavy foliar sprays are entirely off the table to protect the final product. Defense is strictly manual at this stage—plucking heavily infested fan leaves and keeping a close eye on the webbing to limit their spread while the buds finish swelling. ​Despite the early fade, the pale overall color, and the unwelcome arachnid guests, the core buds are holding strong and continuing their final push.
