Grasshopper96 Spoiler: if there is a strain that I like as much as the afghan kush it is the gorilla cookies We start this fourth run of the season, I'm sorry for not having taken better photos but after 24h in the water when I went to move the seeds in the damp paper they are already born, this gorilla cookies auto promises really well, I put 24h ago the 8 seeds in a shot glass of water with the usual three drops of hydrogen peroxide to do osmoprinting, The hydrogen peroxide also sterilizes the water and seeds creating a favorable and pathogen-free environment to give birth to our beloved seeds, I am very confident of this new "old school" that has established itself in the world of strains becoming an evergreen

Grasshopper96 This week starts with the plants finally getting direct light; until now, they were in the shade for fear that the African anticyclone would take its toll. One germinated seed hasn't come out of the soil, what a shame.... I added some soil around the plants because logically, not being intentionally exposed to the sun, they have stretched a bit. Unfortunately, I have to report the loss of 4 plants due to damping off; the 4 surviving plants are doing great (one better) while two are struggling a bit.

Grasshopper96 I apologize for the absence from posting, but working in the heat is tough, so we're keeping strange hours to work in the cool of the evening. The surviving Gorilla Cookies (only 3) are doing great; they like the summer heat more than I do 😅. My plants intentionally get direct light only from 3 PM onwards until around 9 PM, otherwise the heat would burn them. What can I use to mulch the soil without spending too much?

Grasshopper96 The plants have grown a lot, and it's no surprise, Gorilla Cookies never disappoints. Plant growth: the plants have grown a lot, even the little one from the cycle, two are really promising. Pests: I applied Flipper for prevention, so they are protected from almost everything. Remember that Flipper is a product allowed in organic farming, so I'm not poisoning my harvest. Nutrients: I applied Top Auto for the last time at 2 ml/liter, next time I'll start giving them 3 ml/liter like you do with big plants. Final thoughts on last week: the plants have grown a lot and have shifted into fifth gear, now let's see if I can keep it up.

Grasshopper96 The flowering has begun: long live the flowering! Weekly report: the two biggest plants have started to flower, one has reached 78 cm in height and the other is 55 cm, the third one, as you can see, is fortunately delaying flowering but continues to grow. Nutrients: I started giving 3ml per liter of Top Auto from Top Crop, which in theory should be an all-in-one product formulated specifically for autoflowering, so I give that with the addition of a PK booster at the end of flowering. Pests: Flipper is with Grasshopper, and Grasshopper isn't shy about saying that there's a bit of chemistry in his whole garden, allowed in organic farming but in the end, it's still a bit of chemistry.
