Growingape Welcome growmies to this new grow diary of my grow
In this grow we growing the true og White rhino,
But first is need to apologize, bc my room wasn't 100% ready and im still not completely done setting it up, but i still germinated the seeds with the paper towel method and put them outdoors in the sun to grow. So the diary starts now as they moved indoors.
I was surprised by the 100% germination rate, usually at greenhouse is need at least 2 or 3 seeds for one successful germination, no joke, i had everything from germination issues over budrot to mutated genetics with greenhouse so it can confidently say it don't like the seed company but they got the original pheno of White rhino so I'm still growing their seeds, but only this strain.
White Rhino is one of my favorite strains and this is the second time in grow it.
Nothing more to say for germination in didn't added any thing just seed, paper towel, and water.
So yeah let's see U on the next update, have a beautiful day.

Growingape Welcome back growmies to this retrospective report of the first week.
After they were germinated i put them into 0.5L plastic cups, this should be enough for gaining some roots, just two days after they saw the light of the day for the first time. They grew relatively slow, but for outdoor light fast enough, in always put them in the Brightest spot on the house, but they still grew pretty tall.
I also added tnc mycorr plus to the soil
There's sadly not many pictures for this week as it forgot to take some, next week they will be coming.
This run i use the fabric pots from the small independent brand "rooties" they got a zipper on the side so u could easy repot into a bigger pot.
I wish u a great week and let's see U on the next update. Stay healthy

Growingape Welcome back to this first real update of this grow;
The plants are now 15days germinated and this brought us to week two.
I would say the seedling phase are now over and the real veg started. Until now, i gave them 300to 312ppfd with an DLI of 18,somewhat. Now as the plants went into veg i ramp this up to 400-500ppfd and an target of 24to30DLI.
Today was the first watering and i gave them a bit of veg fertilizer to bring the ph of my water down to 6,5 and also i added some root booster and one drop of super vit to 1,5L water.
The soil moisture is now at 60% and that's very okay plants can work with as low as 20%.
The ideal soil humidity are 40-65% in veg.
I'm using the spiderfarmer ppfd meter and controller and it's really comfortable; the lamp gets automatically dimmed and U can just put it higher and it adjust it automatically to the configurated ppfd.
In this run i do 5plants but probably elect the best phenos and kill two of them. I will probably keep the three on the right side.
I'm also using fabric pots cover to keep the moisture a little bit longer in the soil.
Well that was it for this week, i hope u have a great week and we will see us in the next update. Peace out

Growingape Welcome Back to this diary;
I have good news my room mate agreed to take three of the white Rhinos, so it dont need to elect two of them.
This week was hot, the temperature has risen to almost 30C° in the grow room, i also started to give them 450ppfd with an DLI of roughly 27. I also increased the humidity by five percent, to deal with a proper vpd value, my vpd is generally a bit high at 1,20kpa but i also don't want to go over 70%rlh bc of mold risk.
The plants grew strong regardless, i noticed there's a bit more stretched pheno and one compact one. Interesting.
The first side branches emerged, they still small so innocent but we all know where this will go.
I forgot to mention, i also added tnc myco+ directly in the soil, about 3,3g/L soil. This should definitely help to make the plant more resilient and healthy.
I'm happy I'm using fabric pot covers, they're an perfect substitute for cover crops, they really help to keep the moisture in the pot. I watered only twice in this update period. One time (0.75L) after transplantation and 1,5L two days ago.
Im happy about this run, it's going really well until now. I hope to see U on the next update in a week..have a beautiful week. Peace out.

Growingape Welcome back to this update of this diary of White rhino;
The plants going strong, they grew very fast. At one plant the side branches are already pushed on the level of the leaves. I only give them hesi TNT and super vit at this time, in the next week i will start adding hesilico and do a calmag treatment. Also i will defoliate them for the first time.
The plant where the side branches pushed through the leaf cover is a bit lighter green then the others but that's fine, new leaves are generally a bit lighter.
The temperatures are very high at 31to33 degrees, so i will set up a humidifier for a proper vpd, since my vpd is very high, with spikes up to 2,2kpa. I need to bring that down to at least 1,4kpa.
So i hope it can improve my environment before flower time, and hope to see U back at the next update. Have a great week, peace out

Growingape Welcome to this update of this white Rhino run, in this week i defoliated a bit, and made some lst.
I accidentally snapped around 3 side branches while putting the clips in, but that's okay mistakes happen.
But After one day i checked on them and found out that two branches are also snapped off past training. It's frustrating, but I've took the lesson and won't be lst them anymore. The branches are just too brittle cuz of that vigorous grow. The branches are also hollow that doesn't make it easier, they just grew too fast.
In this week i managed to get the vpd down to under 1,5 at least. Soon it's flower time or they get too big for the room.
Now with the new humidifier I'm finally at a vpd of 1.3 max; mostly it's on 1,09.
I only watered hesi TNT, hesilica and supervit with one treatment of calmag for prevention.
Otherwise, nothing much happened, they just grow and grow but i identified 4phenos
One a bit stretched and with less side branches one going fully in the wide with side branches and got a bit stunted height grow, the others are a combination of both. I also noticed it got one extremely great pheno, when i lollipoped and defoliated it it already smelled like the flower.
I would say this is it for the week and i hope to see U back on the next update, wish U a great week and peace out
