Borberad Afghan Noir (Expert Seeds x Zamnesia Collaboration) Dear chroniclers of botanical progress at Borberad! After our recent excursions, our green curiosity now leads us down a path of pure primal force and deep darkness: Afghan Noir, an exclusive and limited collaboration from the prestigious forges of Expert Seeds and Zamnesia. We are preparing for an olfactory and visual journey into the deepest valleys of the Hindu Kush! With our proven method of detailed photographic documentation and occasional video analyses, we will closely follow the powerful development of this mystical beauty. We are excited and hope to see how the first cotyledons in the Veg tent may possibly develop into extremely resinous, deep dark flower clusters of enchanting earthiness – and whether we will ultimately sink into a sea of almost black hues or harvest a historically heavy Indica yield. Expert Seeds x Zamnesia: Afghan Noir Genetics: Afghan Noir is the result of a masterful cross of a legendary Pure Afghani with a carefully selected, robust Skunk #1. This exclusive collaboration combines the untamed resilience, the massive layer of resin, and the calming properties of the original Indicas with the vitality and structure of a Skunk. The genetics are extremely Indica-dominant. Size: Afghan Noir typically develops a compact to medium, extremely bushy stature, usually in the range of 80 to 130 centimeters. Due to its stout nature and short internodal spacing, it is an excellently manageable option for our Living-Soil setup, where we don’t have to fear being overrun by uncontrollable shoots. Color: During the growth phase, Afghan Noir presents itself in a strikingly deep, rich dark green. However, the true spectacle reveals itself during the flowering phase: under the right conditions and cooler night temperatures, the leaves and dense flower clusters turn such a dark violet that they almost appear black – a phenomenal visual contrast in the tent. Flavor: The terpene profile is a tribute to the classic old-school hash varieties. It is deep, complex, and intensely earthy, underlined by heavy notes of fine wood, spices, and a subtle, sweet-musk undertone. An East-oriental flavor experience for absolute connoisseurs. Characteristics: The most outstanding feature of this strain is its extreme resin production; the flowers are literally overwhelmed by a sticky layer, making them perfect for macro photography. It has a flowering time of about 8 to 9 weeks. Its dense, rock-hard buds require precise air circulation to keep the microclimate perfectly in the sweet spot, which can be a challenge this summer. Legal Notice: "Even when cultivating Afghan Noir, our unwavering principle applies: This grow diary documents a private and legal cultivation project in accordance with applicable laws.

Borberad Week 6 The switch to 12 hours happened with the move into the new tent, and the little flower has acclimatized wonderfully to the new environment. Week 6 It was time again for some care of the little wild garden. The cover crop was set aside and carefully trained so that we achieve a nice even distribution of the shoots without unwanted breaks. 🤫

@Borberad, you're making good progress, looking like you'll have a stable enough grow for that tent soon! 🌿
