I love the strain because of the very high yields I had from a one little plant 35cm with LST made me about 140g wet / 32 dry of candies. Buds were very dense, thick. The plant had a lot of leaves what created low air flow and some small mold eventually on fan leaves. I suspected cheese taste but found Earthy, woody with a bit of herbs.
As for now, I love the products. I got much bigger plants that expected with my environmental condition. Will update later on taste of the product ๐
So... in the middle of week 5 I've noticed tiny pistols on my plants. I wonder if I should change feeding to bloom nutrients? If yes, should I flush it with AN Flawless Finish first for few days or go straight to blooming food? Appreciate any suggestions ;) Regards to y'all!
I wouldn't do a flush or change. The switch from grow to bloom (veg to Flower) isn't as significant as it seems... You will meed the extra nitrogen in early flower to help with the stretch, otherwise you will stsrt seeing yellowing at the bud sites. Once she starts blowing up ๐ฅ with bud sites you can start pumping up the P/K amd reduxing the nitrogen. ๐๐ช
Hello dear growers, Today I've found a sign of mold on leaves, didn't noticed on buds but not examined closely all buds. Spots are really tiny. Should I cut those down and cut infected leaves to save as much bud as I can? Trichomes clear to milky 50/50%. Or sacrifice whole grow?
I unfortunately had the same on the tiniest piece of bud one of the top buds ,tries to cut it out but the next week a spot just below had some as well tiny but there so I cut her down .it was during flush but still the chances of it being removed and not spreading those spores to adjoining buds is to highly likely .. hope that helps anyone I've asked has told me don't try to keep going cheers..
@Kshaqu Hi so sorry to hear you have botrytis ๐ฅ I would advise against keeping any part of the plant infected
and you can try to remove all of it and continue your grow however in all likeyhood the mold will return.
So I would sadly cut my losses and harvest any usable non infected plant material. Hope this helps and again
very sorry to hear ๐
@Cannibalgardens, sorry for late reply (a lot things was going on around here) I did as You wrote, though. Eventually I managed to cut some nice piece of candies for me ;) Thanks for helping with advice and wish You best grow ever! ๐ ๐
@DILLIGAF, please chek my update week 9 and harvest. Thanks for advice again! I did as wrote 1 cropped, 2 others heavy defoliated left for later. I will check them regularly.
Hey @DILLIGAF, thank You for answer. As I thought. I'm cutting all infected and those I think might be infected and it's, neighbours leaves. Then I'll inspect closely all buds. I'll cut one whole plant buds that are not infected, and on the others after defoliation I'll spray 60/40% milk to water solution and watch closely. Will inform in few days how's going.
Hi I left an answer to your question hopefully this helps mold and chopping all personnel just an attentive eye can save you a lot of stress cheers from canada

You didnโt defoliate to much so sheโs going to be fine! They look mighty fine sir. Letโs hope on a sweet sticky harvest without any problems.

@GrowBeforeHoe, Thanks, this is my second attempt to personal grow. Last time didn't work well (3g from 2 plants :/). This time with bigger experience and knowledge about feeding. However girls got only 8h of direct sun, they looks much better this time :) hope to get satisfying results :D Regards!
Today I have updated this week diary after recognizing mold infection. My summary is, that I think I had lucky I noticed infection so fast, as it was really tiny. Nevertheless there was no much leaves and few little bud sites infected, i removed all that I was unsure too. I think that defoliating autos week or 2 earlier would be great idea, because the plant could have more space to have better ventilation/airflow. After trimming harvested plant i did scissors hush. Nice! ๐ช๐ energetic altered state, that kept me focused on my task - that's what I aimed for ๐ I will start flushing one of the remaining plants the following 10th week, and the other week later (hope to be 10-20% amberish trichomes).
