Slowly, you can start to guess how the individual bud sites will develop and where the larger flowers will eventually form. At the same time, it seems that the stretch is mostly complete now. The plants have gained quite a bit of height during this phase, but they now appear much calmer in their vertical growth. This should shift the focus increasingly from stretching to actual flower formation. The existing shoots can now channel their energy more into building and further developing the flowers.
