This time I'm growing the new Mephisto RS11 and testing one of my F1 crosses for the first time.
In my last run I made a few seeds to see if crossing autos would actually work out, so now I finally get to grow the first results. The RS11 is mostly there as a comparison and for the smoke :)
Sour Stomper × Granite Haze (Tulaberry)
I'll only be keeping one plant of each strain. The rest will be culled once I've picked the strongest.
I also have another cross:
Radical Juice Auto *Fanta pheno* × Granite Haze (Fruit of the Bloom #3)
That one will move into its own 2×2 tent later, so it'll get a separate diary.

I can see the first green on all three strains, so today marks Day 1.
I'm keeping the EC low for now at 1.0, with a DLI of around 25. I'll stick with that for a few more days before increasing it to around 1.5.
Other than that, I'm just excited to get things going.
Hopefully the summer won't be as brutal this time... I’d like to push the plants a bit more this run with higher light intensities and see what they can do. 😄

They're in 8.5L pots filled with roughly 75% coco and 25% perlite. Today is Day 1 of Week 2, and so far they're all developing really well.
Even though it's been way too hot in the tent. The VPD has often been around 1.3 or even higher 😅 But they're handling it surprisingly well.
Settings: DLI: ca. 35 | EC1.4

The RS11 and Tulaberry are both a little smaller than I'm used to seeing at this stage, but I think that's mostly because I watered much less than I normally do during the first couple of weeks.
Overall they're both developing really well, so I'm not complaining.
The RS11 seems a bit more sensitive to the amount of light, while the Tulaberry looks completely happy.
The Tulaberry's mother, Sour Stomper, was also a bit of a slow starter before she completely took off, so maybe she's inherited that trait.
We'll see.
