AlienFingerRSA Week 1 Update (July 9 onward): The Afternoon Spike 🌱
First full week of real data since transplant, and overall - solid.
🌡️ Temp: Swinging more than I'd like - cool mornings, warm afternoons. Bigger jumps than a young plant loves.
💧 Humidity: 55-78%, averaging 69%. Right where a young plant wants it. No complaints here.
📊 VPD (aka "how thirsty the air is"): Weekly average was spot on for early veg. But every afternoon, for a short window (roughly 3-9pm), it spiked - right when temps peak and humidity drops fastest. And funnily enough, those spikes lined up with some leaf stress I noticed a few days back.
So: not the main culprit (still chasing a nutrient/pH issue for that), but probably a sneaky sidekick making it worse.
🔧 The fix: Not a big one. Just telling my controller to kick the humidifier on earlier in the afternoon - get ahead of the dip instead of reacting after it's already dropped. Aircon-before-the-room-gets-hot logic.
TL;DR: Environment's healthy, no red flags - just tightening one small screw before it becomes a bigger problem. 🔩

AlienFingerRSA All-round good week with DP1 recovery, had defoliation done on DP1 with slight powdery mildew in center. Treated with neem oil solution
