Biobotaniker98 I haven't really documented the Veggie in this run... but they're going into flowering today, and from there I'll take you along with the 3 ladies. Tonight, I'll be defoliating a bit more to create enough air and light channels. Currently, the tallest one (Lemon Cherry Gelato) is at 42cm, followed by the Mimosa at 40, and then the Permanent Marker at just under 30cm (unfortunately, it had to be trimmed because complications arose during training (I accidentally broke a branch). They're already running on a 2.8 EC and are handling it great. The lights are still at 80%, and I had to hang them higher since the humidity is a bit low right now, and they started to get slight taco leaves. Now let's see. Feel free to leave your opinion 🙏?🧘‍♂️

Biobotaniker98 Flowering week 1 is now over for the trio (Lemon Cherry Gelato, Permanent Marker, Mimosa Evo) from Hanfgarten 👌 I didn't expect such strong growth in the first week, especially with the amount of shoots! But hey, I can almost raise the lamp daily 👏 Lemon Cherry Gelato: She's the one with the strongest structure of the bunch and keeps up well with the Mimosa! Currently, she's at exactly 61cm. So, in the last 7 days, she's added almost an amazing 20cm on top. She's a bit fussy and sensitive if you overdo it with nitrogen. But otherwise, she's already a real sight to behold. The green leaves with a yellowish sheen are quite the show ? I'm curious to see how it continues. Permanent Marker: The "smallest" in this run at currently 43cm, but she's also put on nearly 10cm 👌 You can really see the compact growth form. Since day 1 of flowering, you can also see the "stretching" structure very clearly. Let's see what happens here 🤯 Mimosa Evo: The "lighter" one. She's really growing very strongly in a sativa-like way, even though it's a 50/50 hybrid. However, the first cross (only once orange punch) usually has a slightly lighter tendency towards sativa growth (long internode distances and generally a "airier" growth 😁). She's matching up very well with the Gelato and is currently 61cm tall, so she's also made a good jump. What's interesting between her and the Gelato is that both are completely different and should stretch differently, yet the Gelato is actually stretching a bit more 🤯 We'll see what else awaits us. Today, a bit of defoliation was on the agenda since all three ladies had built quite a dense leaf structure (normal with the amount of main shoots), also to prevent powdery mildew in this run. The humidity will be permanently set to 40% starting next week, and currently, 3 fans are blowing through the ladies to allow enough transpiration, as well as to fundamentally avoid mold on the buds later on. The lamps are currently still running at 80% power but will be set to full power at the end of the height growth 🧘‍♂️💚 Feel free to share your opinions and thoughts on this, and a like would be great, if it's not too much 😁🤝

Biobotaniker98 So another week has gone by and I couldn't be prouder of the 3. Hanfgarten is shining again with amazing phenos! They also somehow don't stop growing 🤯🧘‍♂️ but here’s the scoop on the strains: Permanent Marker: is and will remain the smallest, but has already reached an impressive 63cm (before flowering 32-35). Its pistils and buds are slowly forming now. I think we can still expect a growth spurt of 5-10cm before it puts all its energy into the flowers. Currently, it’s completely odorless. I should also mention that it's a very compact genetic strain during growth. It responds super well to training and can handle high EC values without any issues. Defoliation and lollipopping have hardly triggered any stress reactions or affected growth. Mimosa EVO: the frontrunner of the trio! With its astonishing 85cm, it has really overtaken the others and takes up quite a bit of space in the tent.. it also showed its first pistils 2 days ago. Yet, it shows no signs of slowing down in growth.. I had to pull it apart a bit more using "homemade" wires and might consider supercropping later. Its structure is very airy and it has long internodes. I’m really excited to see the flower structure soon. Now it’s really getting started 👀 it also handles high EC values well and could take more than 3.2, so there’s definitely potential. It also handles stress interventions and everything else super well without really "complaining." Lemon Cherry Gelato: The "diva" of the trio 😁 it has also reached impressive heights at 78cm. However, after 6 days, it was already ready to put extra energy into its flowers. As you can easily see, it’s really taking off ahead of the others 🤯. Nevertheless, it’s still growing taller, but I think that will completely change in the next few days. I like its structure the best. It doesn’t grow too compact but also not as long as the Mimosa. Nice spacing between the flowers and I’m already liking the colas a lot. Stress and interventions are also super manageable here, but when it comes to fertilizing, it’s more of a "less is more" type. I can’t categorize its aroma yet, but it’s definitely getting off to a great start! I've reduced the nitrogen level to a minimum and am now increasing PK 13/14 every few days. They were heavily defoliated again on day 14, with nearly all fan leaves removed, so that no microclimates can form and the air circulation for the buds is right. We definitely don’t want anything to mold ☝️ The lights are still running at 80% and will go to maximum as soon as all the buds are there 👌 Stay tuned.. it’s getting exciting 🤝💥 Feel free to leave your thoughts too 🧘‍♂️

Biobotaniker98 The pictures speak for themselves, but I have to say that the three ladies are doing wonderfully. You can see how differently they grow and yet they are getting started nicely with the flowers. Permanent Marker: was the smallest of the three until the end of the stretch... but look at that, from an initial 34cm before the stretch, she has now reached an incredible 82cm!!! She was supposed to have the shortest flowering time, but I'm not counting on that just yet. The flowers have only been developing for about a week, but let's be surprised. Mimosa Evo: the truly biggest one with a final height of 93cm 😁? Her branches have become quite strong due to the multiple toppings, but they are also very branched, which can make airflow difficult. She also started with her buds about a week ago... but as you can see, she is swelling massively!!! Even now, she already has a nice orange/tangerine aroma 👌 I'm curious to see how it goes. Lemon Cherry Gelato: the queen of this trio!!! Her buds are really speaking for themselves at day 28! She started with her flowers already on day 6, even though she has also gained quite a bit of height in parallel! Her final height is around 86/87cm. You can clearly see how she keeps stacking... if this continues, I will need to support her later, but the flowers will impress you! General adjustments: I am steadily increasing PK while keeping nitrogen (coco a+b) at a relatively low level. Additionally, the watering has been adjusted from once long daily to 3x 20 minutes with sufficient intervals to increase the overall nutrient supply. Lastly, I am now predominantly using distilled water, which opens up much more room for fertilizers. However, adjustments must be made carefully. So far, they show zero signs of "too much." I'm slowly increasing until we find the limit, but the results are already speaking for themselves. Slight powdery mildew is unfortunately present due to the summer temperatures, but it's not actively aggressive. Affected leaves appear every few days and are consistently removed. Several spots have been misted overnight with diluted hydrogen peroxide. I am very excited about the result at the end, but every week feels like a gift and a dream. Stay tuned 😁👌💥 Hanfgarten has done a great job selecting here 👏
