Light: Viparspectra 600w LED with Veg and Flower settings (using just veg during initial sprouting, but switching to both veg and flower 24x24 after a few days, per experience of other growers) Tent: Vivosun 4'x4'x8' Air Flow/Climate Control: 1 AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (comes with digital thermo/hygrometer with auto settings based on temp or humidity, which also controls the S6 for exhaust) - 1 AC Infinity Cloudline S6 (same fan, no digital controller as this one will also plug into the T6 controller) - Vivosun 6" carbon filter attached to both fans, one fan/filter pair outside the tent for intake (6' ducting from fan to bottom side port), one fan/filter pair inside the tent for exhaust (6' ducting from fan to top side port on other side of tent/room Soil Used in Week 1 - Fox Farm Happy Frog (will mix in Ocean Forest later) Got Glittlez for free because I bought 3 Ethos packs - It's Zkittlez x Gorilla Glue 4 (had to do some searching around to find this out, as it didn't have the nice little packaging and Ethos had no info about this strain on their site) Day 1: Placed seeds in shot glasses - filtered tap water using Brita filter Day 2: Placed seeds in damp paper towels, then placed in plastic bags (not sealed) Day 3: Taproots were defined; Transplanted seeds to soil in solo cups; placed wet bags over cups; moved to grow tent (no light yet) (Thought I had) damaged GDr2 during transplant; started new seed (calling it GDr2-v2) in shot glass, but still placed original in soil in case it would grow (apparently only the seed husk had come off) Glittlez taproot was shorter than others; paper towel may have been too wet - placed in soil at same time as others anyway (probably should have given it another 12 hours in a less-wet paper towel) Day 4: Placed GDr2v2 seed in paper towel; turned out original GDr2 is sprouting Day 5: All except Glittlez has sprouted above the soil; found Glittlez has started to sprout but it is still beneath soil. Lightly watered all, and added soil to sprouted ones for better support. Turned on Veg light setting and placed ~20 inches from seedlings By end of day, Glittlez had sprouted above the soil Transplanted GDr2-v2 to soil in cup Day 7: All going well; lightly watering a couple times per day. GDr2-v2 has sprouted and has joined the party in the grow tent.

Had some problems on week 2 as you can see from the pictures. The type of burn on the leaves seems to match up the most with PH fluctuation symptoms, but I realized right away that I was watering too often. I also raised the light a little bit. You'll see in week 3 that they bounced back after backing off on the watering frequency.

Plants were doing much better after watering less often (only watering when the soil 1 inch down was dry). The damaged leaves weren't coming off easily with a slight tug, so I left them per recommendations. The plants were growing a bit stocky and weren't stretching much, so I double-checked the light manual and realized I had it way too close - moved to 36 inches per the manual, and they started to stretch in week 4. Wasn't sure if the second GDr2 was gonna make it (was a bit younger than the others when they got sick), but I wasn't worried since it was an extra plant. It bounced back in week 4 though.

Growth exploded for Glittlez and Inzane, so I transplanted them to 1 Gallon fabric grow bags, coating the roots with MYCO+ during the process. The rest remained in Solo cups, and I raised (and the light) them so they'd have the same distance as the other 2. Orange Harambe is a bit behind, and both Grape Diamonds R2 plants are growing a bit more slowly - they've been more sensitive to watering frequency, turning light when I'm watering a little too often, and drooping if I let them get a little too dry.

Transplanted Orange Harambe at the end of the week to a 1 Gallon fabric grow bag, coating the roots with MYCO+ during the process. Inzane was leaning/curving a bit as you can see from the first pic, so i used a stick and a plant clip to train it. The thing in the back on the left in the pic is just some wheat grass for my cat - gotta keep it away from him and let it grow a bit at first 😺

Early in the week, transplanted Inzane and Glittlez to 5-gallon fabric grow bags, and GDr2-v2 to 1-gallon bag. Soil used is about 75% Fox Farm Ocean Forest, 25% Fox Farm Happy Frog (was the other way around for young vegetation stage, as FFOF is known to burn young plants). Added a good amount of pearlite to the soil mix as well. Coated roots with MYCO+ as usual. Topped Inzane and Glittlez mid-week Started LST on Inzane and Glittlez so they're about level with the other plants height-wise. Turned on the bloom settings on my lights - some people have both on through the entire grow, but I waited a bit since the plants were having issues at first. Still on 24h light, so it's basically just adding more light spectrum. Shouldn't hurt anything, but might speed growth a bit. Transplanted Orange Harambe to 5-gallon fabric grow bag toward the end of the week Topped Orange Harambe right at the end of the week GDr2-v2 is being fussy again; some of the higher leaves turning orange despite the same care as the other plants. She may get left behind if she's not in decent shape when all of the others are ready for the flower stage, but not a big deal - it was an extra plant that I started a couple days later in Week 1 because I thought I had damaged the original GDr2 seed during germination. I'm happy with 4 out of 5 good plants on my first grow, but I'll see how she does over the next week or so.

Mostly just watered as usual this week. Further trained the plants right at the end of the week. Glittlez is growing very bushy, so haven't been able to train it much yet. The second (extra) Grape Diamonds plant is definitely going to be left behind when I switch to flowering, but I'll keep watering it for now until I switch the light cycle - might see if someone wants to adopt it.

Decided to wait one more week for flowering so Grape Diamonds could catch up a bit and have stronger stems. Not much to report during this week.

Used this extra week to let Grape Diamonds catch up, and the others got nice and bushy. Did a little lollipopping on the underside of each, but didn't need to prune too much. Switched lights to 12/12 right at the end of the week. Installed trellis net to get ScrOG going. Started feeding nutrients - General Hydroponics Flora Series.

Lots of stretching. A little tough to even it out since it's so crowded, but making sure the bud sites all have light exposure. Up to full dosage of nutrients now (every other watering); will keep an eye out for adverse effects.

Growing all different sizes now, but the buds are looking good so far. Inzane is huge, living up to its name (top left in the main pic), while Grape Diamonds is much shorter than the rest, but its buds are looking the frostiest so far.

How long was the Grape Diamonds Flowering phase? My first broke soil today at 48 hrs and wondering if there are any key things I should be aware of when growing this gorgeous lil lady? Anything would help and thanks for your diary bro. cheers

@WickedBastid, I appreciate that bro, I am excited to say the least the first two that came out were Diamonds and Daddy and those are the two strains Im running in DWC tubs...I wanted the cycles to be about the same with the plant structure as well so I can run one of each in the tubs I have. Doing a grow comparison with the microbes I am using. I didnt want to stick each strain in the same tub if the cycles are really off and they structure off differently, But Imma go with it and keep updating. Cheers bro

@BruceyBanger, I'm just in the 4th week of flowering, so not sure yet. Keep an eye on my diary 😉 A little tough to tell how long it should have taken to get as big as it is, because I had my lights too close at first (didn't go according to the light's manual), so in the 2nd/3rd week the plants were a little sick until I corrected it. But Grape Diamonds had taken it the worst, and took longer to recover than the others, so I ended up waiting an extra couple of weeks to switch to flower so that she could catch up and have sturdier stems. I switched to flower after week 10, so it probably would have been week 8 or so without the early issues. I also just used nutrient-rich soil all the way through the veg stage (no nutes until flower), so yours might grow a bit faster. Good luck with your grow, man!

@WickedBastid, I agree fully if something is worth doing its worth doing well. I invested in something similar a ready to go grow tent with all the essentials i also went for the dutch pro nutes and after now sampling my first harvest i can say it was worth every penny.

@Merchant_Lord, Thanks! Yep, it's my first grow. A bit ambitious for the first one, but I'm following tips from a few experienced growers (plus all the stuff I'm seeing on this site and YouTube), so hoping for good results as long as I stick with their advice.
