Germination

Herikus Hello and welcome back to a new grow! We are trying out one of Mephisto Genetics Artisanal Strains: Old School Blues It's a mix of the original Old School Haze (Super Sativa Club '85) with home-genetics of the Livers BX1. Expecting a classic haze profile with some floral notes. This one starts approx. 1 year after my last grow. Motivation to update the last grow went to 0 and I needed to take some time of my plants. But now I'm back!

Herikus Greeting, welcome and hello to Week 1! I transplanted her into the 21L forever home right when I saw the first roots touching to bottom of the starter cups. Watered the whole pot beforehand and gave around 10-15 sprays of water to make her set in better. Currently at level 2/10 for my light; around 12000-18000 Lux at ground height (should be around 150-250 PPFD) for optimal growth during early seedling stages. "Cher" was the only one having deformed starter leaves; I estimate that she's going to be 2-3 days slower than all others in early progression. Thankfully she has one of the big pots, making this easier for her to catch up! I believe in you "Cher"! Really happy to have started again, I feel the energy build up in me and love that feeling of being their somewhat "dad" and caring for them. Hyped to follow their progress day by day and share it with you!

Herikus Welcome back to Week 2. Oh Cher, Oh Cher, she had a really rough start but managed to come back to life! She is still around 3-5 day behind all other plants but fights back. Missed to capture Day 7 & 8 and next week I'm going to be on holiday. Luckily I have someone at home caring and watering them. Nothing interesting apart from that, watered when dry with around 3-4L estimated.

Herikus Holiday-Week 3! This week I was on holiday and someone else watered and cared for my plants at home. Light was increased to 70cm with light intensity also increasing to 5/10 to promote more vertical growth. Growth of Cher increased (top right) and her 3rd pair of leaves finally appeared fully! For some time I thought she had some genetic defects on one side but NO! Just starter problems, now she's back on track to ctach up with all others!

Herikus Week 4 and Cher is really going! Her differences in relation to all other plants in the beginning almost vanished. Interestingly enough, she only formed one branch at the first intersection and now she's structured quite cool! Anyways, she looks good and healthy! Set the light to about 80% intensity because I'm starting to notice some pistil hairs on the other plants and they can take it! Flower is beginning quite shortly, that's why I love autoflowers so much! Watering every 3-4 days now, noticed some CalMag deficiencies on Taylor, gonna mix in 4ml/l to counteract. Also defoliated because too many nodes were covered by fan leaves.
