I think I'm slightly behind compared to where I was hoping to be at the end of week 3. I've repotted one to see how it reacts and it seems to be liking it. I've also switched the flower lamps on (reds) as before I was only using blue lights (which I believe might have caused the delay).
Day 1 (of week 4):
Repotted the second girl this morning and dissected the twisted one.
Lowered the lights a bit and watered them slightly with some rainwater (of hopefully lower pH)
Pleased with progress today. They seem to have started moving finally.
Day 3:
Bought ph meter and ph down solution. Tap water at 7.5 which probably didn't help the plants. Watered them with ph 6.2 water and topped them.
Day 4:
Girls seem to be recovering nicely after topping. Two new tops are forming on each plant. There's some loss of colour on plant 2's leaves which I'll have to keep an eye on. I'm pretty certain I had pH issues that are now resolved so we'll see.
Another week for my slow growing girls. I've observed a lot of movement on them today so fingers crossed.
I think I've also resolved the pH issues but need more time to confirm. Gonna grab calmag tomorrow and mist the plants with it.
Week 6.
The plants are growing much faster than they did last week. I started some training towards the end of last week with a plan to put it under the scrog, but I am now upgrading the 100cm tall tent to 200cm, so I might just let them grow.
I have topped the plants again and defoliated few days later. Dealing with fungus gnats and some house renovations after which the girls are getting a new home (probably end of next week).
Finally finished redecorating and the girls now have a new bigger (60 x 60 x 200cm) home.
Today is girls' last day on 18/6 schedule. Starting 12/12 from tomorrow.
In case anyone is wondering why I'm using Canna Aqua with Canna Terra Professional Plus potting mix, it's because I'm planning to switch to a bubbler pot for my next grow
Nice growth in the last couple of days.
Since it's been taking 5-6 days for the pots to dry out between feeds I've switched to heavy feeding schedule (from Canna's Grow Guide site).
My automatic fire extinguisher has also arrived so will be installing it in the tent when I get a minute.
One funny thing I've noticed is that with my current 12/12 schedule between 8am and 8pm I don't get much time when I can actually open the tent and enjoy looking at the plants.
The girls are no longer aligned when it comes to the watering schedule. One has shown some burnt tips so I backed off nutes slightly for this watering round.
One is also growing much faster than the other one and I'm not really sure what to do with it.

I've just impulsively purchased 2 x 120w Quantum Board from Alibaba and it should arrive within the next 18 days. When that happens, the girls will be a good few weeks into flower. Should I upgrade the lights in the tent as soon as they arrive or wait until the next grow? Ta
Looks like a 2x2? I recommend hanging them immediately and not using the full 240w from the QBs but dimming to max 200w. (Assuming they use HLG-120H-XX drivers). Watt for watt, any QB, knockoff or not, will already absolutely wipe the floor with that purple fixture. Handle with care.
Another week. The upgrades are here and apart from switching over to DWC which I might do at some point, my tent is completed.
Looking forward to seeing how much of a difference the new lights will make.

Roll on week 11. I think the girls are looking very pretty but also quite different from each other.
One is short but thick and bulky and smells great. The other one is quite a bit more stretched with different looking buds and no smell.
Watering every 2 days with 8 litres of water between them two.
I think I stunted them last week by defoliating slightly with every watering, so will try to not touch them anymore.
I'm also struggling to keep the colas straight as they're getting heavier and fighting high humidity after smelling some stale air in the morning after watering day. Got a dehumidifier since as well.
Started giving them PK 13/14 as I've not seen much vertical growth in flowers recently.
Day 82: Watered with pH'd water only due to suspected nute lockout on the stretched girl.
It's been raining a lot and I've been struggling to keep the humidity down in the tent. Especially with how ineffective my dehumidifier is in lower temps.
Getting there slowly.
Some yellowing at the bottom of one of the plants and some slight nute burn on the other. I think it's all due to the pH lockout as I've measured runoff at 5.0. Probably due to the salt build-up.
Plain pH water for the last two waterings.
I think it's the right moment to start giving them PK 13/14. The usually the plants need to start receiving those supplements the last 3 to 4 weeks of flower and Blue Dream usually takes between 7 to 9 weeks to get ready so I believe it's a good moment to start! Good luck! 👍
I've not fed any nutes for the last 4 waterings. Just plain pH'd water and recently some Cannazym and CannaBoost. The yellowing and burning seems to have stopped on the girl on the right but yellowing continues on the one on the left and colas are light and wobbly. I should have probably flushed both a week ago or so, now they're all tied up and not sure if I can get them out for a flush, so I might need to attempt to do it in the tent and instead of pH water flush them with light solution.
Pretty clear at this point that I've got no idea what I'm doing. But I'm definitely only doing 1 plant next time.
28/08: I've flushed one and semi flushed the other girl today. Hopefully my setup can keep the humidity in check as I had to do it just before the lights off.

Looks like few more weeks.
I flushed both last week and managed to bring the runoff EC to acceptable levels, by flushing with light nute solution.
Also started watering both separately as it makes it a lot easier to control the humidity. Will water one of the girls tomorrow with either 1/2 or 1/4 strength feed.
03/09
Actually I think I'm going to start wrapping it up. 1 of the girls got pH'd water with Cannazym and CannaBoost and the other one is going to get the same tomorrow.
I can see some amber trichomes appearing on lower buds and I'm keen to move to the next grow.

Watered the other girl with pH'd water with Cannazym and CannaBoost. Runoff higher than I would like at 1300ppm and a lot of white pistils still on buds (lots of orange ones too but somehow not visible in pictures)

Another watering for girl #1. Just pH'd water this time. Runoff at 800ppm.

Last day of week 15. Watered girl #2 with just pH'd water. Runoff also at 800ppm.
No more feeding. Now just need to ride it out on pH'd water until harvest. I'd like to get the runoff PPM down significantly before the chop, but looking at the girls I think I've got plenty of time.
I think I'm going to chop on Tuesday. I'm struggling to capture that on camera but most of the pistils are no longer white.
I got the seeds from a local seedbank. Breeder unknown. I've got nothing to compare to but I think the genetics were lacking here.
Got 176g of dried bud and 61g of trim from two plants.
First grow so made a lot of mistakes, but hey. Would have preferred to wait another 2 weeks but I've already been flushing for 3 weeks and the girls have gone all yellow. The nute lockout towards the end of flower was the biggest cause of issues, but not the only one. From the beginning the plants seemed stunted so maybe it was the medium. Anyhow, no one really cares and I don't either. Lessons learned and off to a next one. Drying now so will update numbers when dried.
@ThatsNotMe, the calmag deficiency comes with the intensity of all LED and especially quantum boards. Another one to watch out for from week 3 on in flower is phosphorus deficiencies too. It took me forever to figure out what what happening. You can note it by the veins in the leaves starting to turn lighter which will eventually lead to the whole leaf. Just sharing something that took me a year to figure out on my own.
The other one I just learned not long ago is that you very rarely see a cal mag toxicity so you don’t have to worry about it very often.
No idea to be honest. I flushed mine so they're not due watering yet but need to give them calcium/magensium due to blurple lights (apparently there's a correlation between blurple lights and calmag deficiency).

Hey it's not so bad you still have 2 more and as i can see you dont have to much space aswell so i think its even better that you dropped one ! Whats the size of the tent? you gonna finish in da same tent? if yes ten its gonna be crowded 😅 you should do a good job with LST control those girls!

Haha, yeah. That was the plan all along to drop the third one so no biggie. The tent is 50x50x100cm. Tiny! It's my only tent so yeah, it'll have to do for the whole cycle. I feel I could have gotten some small auto instead for my first grow, as Blue Dream can get really big, but oh well.
I'll try to manage it somehow and leave enough room for stretch. I'm going to throw a scrog in there and was thinking of topping it only once, let both plants fill the scrog, supercrop the main colas, let it recover and flip to flower.
Yeah they going slow ma man Maybe you put your light much closer? And that one of yo girls look really stressed! Humidity is okey? Ph is Okey? Temperature is okey? The fan aint blowing all the time on the plants? maybe they are in a shock from root bound? Good luck..

Thanks man. I'm growing in Canna Terra Professional Plus so not coco. I've dissected the twisted one and I think I was right. Looked like the seed ended up on top of a chunk of bark and the roots never managed to spread in the pot (I'll upload some pics later).
I'll be lowering the lights later on as well. I'm kinda winging it.

So its coco you have yeah? Yeah you should really have PH meter it's like one of the most important things mate. Well you doing everything kinda right so yeah maybe the roots is the problem but that one girl really looks streesed. And by the way those girls start looking a lil bit hungry are you feeding them?

The one that looks stressed gets everything exactly the same as the other two. My theory is that the seedling has hit some chunk of food (bark, etc.) in the soilless mix but I will be getting rid of it later today and will check if that were true. It goes through twice as much water as the other plants. Humidity is between 50 and 60%. Temps are between 20C (night) and 26C (day). Fan's been blowing on them since they were born. PH is one think I have no way checking so it might be a bit high, but it would be the same for all 3 plants.
Also not root bound. The one I repotted, the roots didn't even get to the bottom of the pot yet.
@DILLIGAF, Thanks man. I've accepted another one as an answer as it mentioned something I wasn't aware of in regards to QB. I will be installing them as soon as they arrive.
@ThatsNotMe, Lift it ASAP, you want your plant growing in as high a light level as possible :) it's probably not going to catch up. The load refers to the amperage the diodes get; at (for example) 700mA a LED is more efficient (in terms of lumens per watt, or lm/w) than it will be at 1400mA. Indeed, dimming the driver will reduce the current available to the leds. But that's a whole other subject.
@BillMonroe, Thanks. At which point would I put it on the platform? Can I assume that it's not going to catch up with the bigger one and just lift it up right now? The QB are two 120W boards with 1 240W driver (I went for 2 separate ones because I want them side by side and not the long way like the 240W normally look like). I'm not sure there can be knock-offs of quantum boards as the concept is really simple, driver is made by meanwell anyway so the only difference can be leds. Hopefully Kingbrite and Meijiu install LM301H when they say they do. I know I'm not getting top bin but It's $170 shipped to UK for both fixtures and the driver, including ratchet pulleys and heatsinks. Top bin is probably another $100 on top and I have no way of checking.
And in 2x2 tent I don't think the difference is going to matter anyway. I did go for 240W because I've seen on samsung website somewhere that those LM301H are most efficient when under 50% load.

@ThatsNotMe, I asked because that is exactly what I was thinking of doing and I thought the same about the 6 inch fan, I was thinking about just putting my filter intent and fan out, but seeing yours ' I'll probably copy you.
@Trip614, It's a 4" filter attached to a 6" fan through a reducer. I'm probably going to try to use it for this and one more grow before replacing it with 6" 30cm one.
The thing is, that in 2 x 2 tent I never get the fan on higher speed than 4, but probably will crank it up if I need to reduce humidity closer to the harvest. So the 4" filter kind of works in that small tent, but the airflow is restricted and you can feel it on higher speeds.
everything looks perfect, just a litle advice: 600watt hps will put these plants in extreme bulk i dont believe 200w led is going to give 400-500 grams bud, i grew these a few times and only had extreme yield with the 600w hps. i tried 400hps and 300w led but is was just too weak. i hope u do well
