PapaTerps Bubblegum Gelato - Barney's Farm
SUMMER is upon us and grows that were started around March have been harvested - that means I have empty tents! So I've decided to start another grow for this Summer and into Autumn. π
For this grow, I've selected the strain "Bubblegum Gelato" by Barney's Farm feat. Backpack Boyz (Gelato 45 x Indiana Bubblegum) - I chose this strain for her low THC content, it's berry/cream flavours, it's happy/euphoric properties and also for this collaboration between BF and BPB; I have grown a couple of their colab strains before and have been mightily impressed, so I'm excited to see how this one turns out!!!
I will be vegging her for about 4 weeks in a 5L fabric pot, and I'll use a mixture of techniques to get get as much yield as possible in the timeframe and pot size. You're all more than welcome to follow along, I will try to detail my process without overloading the diary ππ»
Day 1 (17/07)
- Seed dropped into a small metal screw tin filled with RO Tap water pH'd to 6.3 and stored in a dark warm room - she will remain here until the seed pops and a taproot appears; I will check the progress of the seed every ~12 hours.
Day 6
- She has taken some time to pop, but she finally got there and has a nice long taproot, so I've filled a small 0.1L starter pot with some All-Mix and dropped the seed in!
Day 8
- she has appeared from the soil and is reaching for the sky ππ» I'll let her grow for a week here and then I'll move her into her main grow pot; a 5L Fabric pot ππ»
