ElCapitol Here we go 😁 Single 42fastbuds Strawberry Gorilla Auto. I'm not overly familiar with autos so I thought I'd try a multi strain auto grow and have a look at what I've been missing. Last time I grew out autos it was Lowryders, the OG back in the day. They were terrible 😂 Prone to rot and no real sophistication to the high.
So, I picked some Barney's Farm and 42fastbuds strains, I had intended on running some Royal Queen but they had no offers on at the time. Maybe next time. It's a multi strain grow but I've segregated them for clarity.
So, germination. I like to keep it simple. Root riot cubes, heated propagator and a chopstick for pushing the seeds down around halfway into the cube I wear gloves at all times and everything is spotlessly clean. Propagation is at around 28c and took 2/3 days. I put 1 down for 1 up, 100% germination rate. My light is currently on 50% and around 2ft away. The propagators lid is misted up so that diffuses the light nicely.

ElCapitol Hardened them off by slowly opening vent in propagator lid over a day or so. Then once that was fully open I leave the lid on but raise it an inch or so off the base to allow more airflow. This helps harden them off slowly and a little breeze hitting them stops them getting too tall too fast. Day 6 after sprouting they go straight into an 11L pot filled with standard garden centre compost. It's probably a little hot for seedlings but they'll get over it.
Once they're in the pot I water a ring around the seedling and leave a gap of around 6 inches in the centre relatively dry. That helps stop damping off disease. They're quite vulnerable to it at this stage.
When watering in I added a very weak Canna Vega solution, just so they've got immediately available nutrients to help put put good roots into the fresh soil. Lights are at 50% power. Added Calmag to next watering, I always get early calcium deficiency in this compost.

ElCapitol Possibly my favourite so far, lovely explosive growth in the last 7 days. Showing very early promise. 11cm already, can't wait to see how this one grows. These RF3 do seem to have a slightly more vigorous growth than the others. Time will tell I guess. I have soft water here so have added Canna Calmag Agent at a low dose to feed schedule. Currently feeding once a week.

ElCapitol Very happy with this. Good growth habits with plenty of side branching. Plants looks healthy and doubles in size weekly.
