Week 8 -
Still stretching a bit, haven't entered full flower - she'll definitely run longer than the estimated 12 weeks ^^
Have started phasing to bloom nutes but will hold off until I see more signs of flower
Week 10 -
After much deliberation I've decided to pull the Glueberry out of the box so that the Critical Orange Punch can have the full space to flower
She's doing well currently still indoors getting about 3-4 hours of direct sunlight, will put her under 12/12 when the other auto is chopped if she still hasn't started flowering by then
Week 11 -
Glueberry is doing quite well under sunlight and has started to progress into flower at last ^^ Tremendous plant at the moment
Might finish her under the quantum board once the COP is done
Week 12 -
This Glueberry is truly a massive plant, 10 weeks veg shall hopefully result in a decent yield
Flowering is coming along, have switched to bloom nutes
Week 13 -
Glueberry has started to smell insane, sweet musky berry sort of smell
Have started to cut floramicro to reduce nitrogen and will be placing her back under the quantum board now that my other plant is done
Week 14 -
Have placed her back under the quantum board on 14/10 and done a heavy defoliation, trained the branches back in to place
Will continue with micro until nugs are thumb sized then push PK
Week 15 -
Have started to push PK, bud have an extremely pungent sweet scent, almost musky. Very stoked to taste these flowers
Have been doing mild defoliation every few days, she recovers very quickly :)
Week 16 -
Slow and steady bud development, this girl has crazy amounts of frosty trichomes - rather large ones ^^
Buds are small but very dense, nodes spaced out quite a lot no doubt due to the reduced light she got while under sunlight, very much looking forward to the end product though :) Smells insane - sweet musk with hints of berry
Week 17 -
Nugs are starting to chunk out a little, a few hairs turning orange - trichomes appear to be around 50% cloudy on most buds
This Glueberry plant has taken an outrageous amount of time but she is looking and smelling good :)
Week 18 -
Plants have started to fill out nicely and the smell getting more pungent, didn't have too many photos from this week
Trichomes are about half cloudy with a few amber
Week 19 -
First week of flush and she's starting to fade, few spots of pinkish purple here and there
Resin production is great, super sticky fingers :)
Trichomes have mostly turned cloudy
Week 20 -
Second week of flush and final week for the Glueberry, trichomes seem mostly cloudy with a good few amber
Smell is very pungent and sweet with hints of berry and a slight kushy-ness
This strain was very interesting to grow, the sweet musky smell of this bud is unlike anything. Has to be smelt to appreciate it
Effects are very sedative, trichimes we’re around 50% amber when chopped so this was expected. Very overpowering high that last for a good 2-3 hours
Mad props to the Dutch Passion guys
This plant grew vigorously from start to finish, it did not autoflower within the expected timeframe - after 10 weeks she was placed outside to force flowering
After around 5 weeks of flowering under the sun she was put back under the LED quantum board to finish up
Plant was given 48 hours of darkness before a wet trim and hung to dry for 8 days until stems snapped
Buds were then trimmed from branches and placed inside vacuum sealed mason jars to cure
@@themilkman I'm using a 65w quantum board from HLG - It is a 4000K board so more on the blue side. It is small and am not expecting a crazy yield but according to their site its flowering footprint is about the same as the space its in so I thought i'd be okay
Don't have a PAR meter but according to HLG at 12" the PPFD should be around 400 - you think this is the problem?
@@themilkman, Thanks for the help dude, will try and add some supplemental light :) Unfortunately decent LED lights are hard to come by here in South Africa at a decent price but am gonna look into some red LED strips
@IamJedi420, The 4000k should be a good all around "temp" for veg and bloom. There are people who grow entirely under CFLs or t5, but I suspect that the light requirements for the 2 plants you have are on the higher end with the other strain not needing quite as much. It may be that these particular strains need some more intense light to flower properly. Flowering plants tend to like about 900 ppfd and some of mine, Arise, is taking 1200-1500 like a champ. Not sure that these are salvageable at this point but if you run another auto and the same thing happens, I would switch the lighting. I run an Aglex (no affiliation with them) and it kicks ass for the $. Had one Cobb go out in the first 3 months, bit they sent me a replacement within 2 days no questions asked.
@Fruitgrower , Thanks for the response :) It does indeed say XXL however after over 4 weeks of preflower I would think I should see at least a couple more pistils than are showing based on other diaries of the same strain
Would wait it out a lot longer if space wasnt a concern 😅
@StoneyMelony, You werent kidding man, she really reached for the sky ^^ This is going to be interesting...
Beautiful plant though, great grow dude - looking forward to seeing final yeild :D
@IamJedi420, i did harvest today,i'm not quit finished but you can see it in dairy if you want, growdiaries.com/diaries/33691-auto-glueberry-og.
I did test a little bit last week because bud was snapped off earlier, and it is very pungent, strong heavy OG taste not so much berry with my pheno, It hits you fast you can feel it immediatly behind the eyes. F**king stoned haha, and for a good amount of time as well. didn't disappoint me at all so far. It is very sticky and the smell is really strong. Good luck with your GB oG ;-) and oh my room is 2m as well, i had to rehang my lights hahaha and had to bend everything. Way to high, Better train early and keep it under control.
@StoneyMelonyelonyelonyelony, Haha Thanks man. Yeah she's already packed on way more size than I anticipated at week 5 and is starting to stretch proper ^^ Have about 2m vertical space so hopefully will be okay
How was the smoke :)?
Wow, the bush in the late veg is insane, and the stretch is even more insane. Looking like you're on your way to getting some good smoke. Looking forward to your harvest mate!
seeing a preflower does not mean that your plant will go into flower, it means that she is mature enough to begin flowering when the lightschedule is right. i would say that week 11 is your first week of flowering since the pistils are just barely showing
that's true it's weird that it takes so long. XXL autoflowers can become pretty big, but it's almost as if this one is photoperiod due to the time It already tooknevertheless, looking at the pistils shown in week 11 you won't have too much of a problem with space i guess. looks like the stretch is Almost done and the flowers are on their way
@the_curious_grower, As this is an auto I was under the impression that flowering began as soon as it was mature, this one stalled for a while. Still not really sure if it is a photo that has just flowered because ive put it under reduced light or some genetic quirk :/
