NextNug The Melonade-K has been the most stable of the 3 genetics so far and has handled everything from heat and drought to wind without showing any signs of stress. It's going to get really wild 💪🏼🔥

NextNug The two Melonade-K are the absolute performers right now, and they're looking very promising for me. The next 2 weeks will decide where each plant stands.

NextNug This week was all about the first big training step. The plants were topped and prepared for mainlining. Afterwards, the main shoots were carefully positioned. Both are responding well to the intervention and are already showing fresh, strong growth. Now it's time to give them a little rest, let them keep growing, and observe the new structure. 🌱

NextNug This week was all about training and structure. Both plants were further cleaned up into mainlining, realigned, and pruned a bit. As a result, the center is now much more open, and the new shoots are getting more light and space. Both are responding well to the training so far and look strong and healthy overall. Now they can take some time to recover and build up some good new mass before the next step comes.

NextNug Last veg week before the flip. Both Melonade-K are developing very steadily after the training and now show a clear mainline structure. MK #2 looks a bit more compact and uniform, while MK #1 is spreading wider and utilizing the space well. For both, the main stems have been trained further outwards to keep the center open and ensure that later on, all tops receive light evenly. This week is mainly focused on recovery, slight adjustments, and healthy growth. No major interventions are planned before the flip.

NextNug Both Melonade-K from Kannabia are also featured with their first update after the flip. MK #2 shows a dense, compact canopy, while MK #1 stands out more with its open center and laterally guided main branches. The large fan leaves characterize both; in between, numerous light green shoot tips sit. From the front, the strong branching is clearly visible, while from above, the differences in leaf distribution become apparent. These views capture the current status for the next weekly comparison. The run is accompanied by Xpert Nutrients. Stay tuned, StonedHeads! 🗿

NextNug This week, my two Melonade-K from Kannabia are in front of the camera. 🌱 In direct comparison, they show their own character: MK #1 appears broader and somewhat flatter, while MK #2 stretches its shoots more upwards. Both have a clearly branched base structure, which can be well recognized in the side shots. With MK #1, small flower buds with white hairs are already noticeable. In the case of MK #2, the lighter shoot tips and large fan leaves are particularly prominent in these pictures. The older foliage appears darker in both than the young tips. These are exactly the kinds of differences I want to document in the diary – same variety, but not an identical appearance. Let's see how the two present themselves by the next update. 🗿
