SpaceCadet3000 Planted all 6 in soil, using peat pots.
Germination date is the date planted in soil, not actual germination date.
I plan to discard the weakest 2 (in the woods) and plant 2 seedlings into each pot.
Assuming there are no issues, I'll train each plant around 3 of the green sticks, lowering the apical meristem until there are 8 healthy top sites on each plant, pruning where necessary.
I'll use a scrog net with 32 squares, so that's 4 plants with 8 top sites each and one square per node. The scrog will be placed low, it's mainly just to keep things neat.
If the plants are vigorous then I'll switch to flower when each top site is through it's square and has grown one or two healthy nodes, depending on how much I have to fight to keep the different strains even.
If they are not vigorous, I'll just spread them out as much as I can when I get bored and flip them as soon as they aren't stressed.
That's the plan, anyway.
I'm hoping the green sticks in the main pots will do something to help wicking.
I left a layer of mulch from the last grow, added an assortment of foods in layers, using the same ingredients as the previous grow. I've been slowly watering them in and scattering a layer of soil on top afterwards. I'm going to gradually add the rest of the CSL to the main pots before scattering a little myco and letting it cook until the seedlings are ready.
UPDATE:
After 3 came up, it was another couple of days without any more popping, so I planted 2 sundae driver seeds in the same peat pots - they've both grown and, although they could be the original seeds, I'm judging from the fat, pale/purply stems of the seedlings that they are both sundae driver.
Maybe we'll get some hitchhikers from the 'dud' seeds later. I think the soil needs more aeration before the roots will grow vigorously enough to worry about them suffocating each other, so they'll just be dwarves if they do eventually pop.
I'm going to adjust the plan, slightly.
There is 1x cereal milk, 2x GDP and 2x sundae driver.
I'll probably put GDP + sundae driver in one pot, cereal milk + sundae driver in the other pot, and discard one GDP. If any of the other seeds pop, I might decide to put 3 in each pot and flip them earlier.
I won't make a final decision until I pot them.
The sundae driver seeds were purchased at the same time as the ones from the previous diary, but the last ones were from a pack of ten and these were from a different pack of five. The serial number of the ten-pack is 17 digits later than the 5-pack, so they are probably from the same harvest, if not the same parent.
