doober Starting up another grow with two permanent marker clones, I ran this clone once in my journal, fruit and gas, now I’m running it again. This will be my first grow with an to machine and using masterblend, mag sulfate, and calcium nitrate. Im also taking a stab at running airpots. These were transplanted into 5g pots today 7-30-26. Fed 1.5ec 9.-1.1 vpd

doober Everything is going well, they’re handling daily irrigation really well, I bumped them up to 1.7ec and got a touch of tip burn, backed off to 1.5ec and they’re eating good. They’ll handle 1.7 when they get a bit bigger. If anyone is on the fence about masterblend or jacks, make the switch, masterblend is awesome.

doober The plants have been growing fast, loving the airpots and daily irrigation. The first scrog net is nearly filled out in the back and not much room to go out to the sides. Sometimes it’s harder to fill with short stocky plants so I’ll probably plan to flip to bloom in 5-7 days. Masterblend, calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate at 1.7 ec for veg is the sweet spot for them. I’ll be flowering with the masterblend 0-20-42 cannabis formula.

doober I flipped these to bloom on 8-17-26. Still holding 1.7ec and letting them grow vertically. I figure once the stretch starts slowing down I’ll transition over to the 0-20-42 bloom formula do a solid cleanup and just let them simmer

doober These are about 11 days from flip, still pushing the veg formula but I plan to switch as soon as stretch is done and they start building flowers. These just don’t want to fill out so I stopped trying and just let them go. One more cleanup in a week or so and I’ll just let them rock and roll

doober I’m at 25 days of bloom on these two, I’m really excited for them. The first time I flowered this clone I wasn’t able yo optimize feed and environment and neglected the mid and lower canopy cleanups and it still went really chunky. This go around has a lot more vigor and way more stretch and should finish out nicely.

doober I had some root zone issues pop up around week 4-5, I think the plants transpiring hard and airpots drying faster caused the ec to swing way up, I tweaked my irrigation and added short pulses at 1 and 5pm to keep it moist and my overnight dry backs lower, I don’t know if it’ll effect total bulk or not but I think I caught it early enough to not skip much of a beat

doober I really scorched the piss out of these poor things week 4-5 but what can you do. Dialing in a new nutrient line and airpots and just burned the hell out of them, they never missed a beat though, I’m mid way through week 6 and they’re swelling hard, no nanners, smell great, super greasy, they’ll finish just fine I bet

doober We surely are not winning any beauty contests with the nute burn, still not sure what happened but the flowers never skipped a beat. It’s honestly the biggest buds I’ve ever gotten off this permanent marker clone, resin production is crazy too. I’m just shy of week 8 I just need them to baby step to the finish line without any more stress on them.

well good luck. I personally wouldn't water soil twice a day. (;Did air pots for years too) If over dried. , moisten thoroughly,then allow a normal 24 hr cycle. while EC spikes with dry acks. That throws the PH way off too. week 4 calcium issues under leds is common. typical week 4 potential problems..I see plants were fairly small in final size pots,pre flower. Try uppotting 7 to 10 days prior to push. Allowing a bit more balanced nutrients to get you by longer. In addition gives you more new root room. Good luck. Great cultivar. they sold out of their S1s. otherwise I would of added that one to my seed bank. I will look out to see how they are coming.
