dinosdarko Beginning of Flowering Week 3: The bud formation is exploding on the 6-stem monster! Welcome to my new update! My Papaya Frosting is now exactly in the 3rd week of flowering. The white hairs have been visible for about 11 days now, and the stretch is in full swing. The tips have gained an incredible height once again and are currently at [INSERT NEW HEIGHT HERE, 2.35 meters! Here’s the secret behind this massive structure: The plant is growing on a total of 6 massive main stems! I selected 5 extremely strong “legs” (side branches) and left the original main stem intact, but only let it branch out further from a height of 1 meter. If left unbent, the branches would already be between 2.60 m and 3.00 m long! By tying it down flat with plant wire, I have perfectly directed this growth power horizontally. Across the entire 9m² of the Double-SCROG net, the first thick bud clusters are now forming everywhere. First scrog net at 1.40, second at 2.50m. My split watering technique (60 liters total volume with dry soil): * 30 liters: First clear water. * 30 liters: The full organic flowering mix afterwards. Current dosage (per liter of the fertilized 30L mix): * 4 ml Biobizz Bio-Bloom (Maximum power for the flowering start) * 2 ml Biobizz Top-Max (For resin and terpene production) * 1-2 ml Biobizz Bio-Grow (To keep the soil life active) The massive greenhouse ensures perfect airflow with its large windows and roof openings. dinosdarko 🌿 Greenhouse Monster - Update Papaya Frosting (Barney's Farm) 🌿Overview & Growth: We have officially reached the end of week 3 of flowering, and my Papaya Frosting from Barney's Farm is turning into an absolute tree! Thankfully, the hormonal growth spurt (Stretch) is over quickly, which was about time – the lady has put on a massive show and currently stands at an impressive height of 2.40 meters. Bent.Training & Structure: I put a lot of work into the selection and training in the early phase. I selected the plant to have 5 main branches (Main-Lining) and continuously pulled the main shoots from left to right. The result? An absolutely crazy crown diameter of nearly 3 meters from all sides! The massive main stem is extremely strong and already measures a proud nearly 7 cm in diameter at the base. To catch this enormous mass of plant tops, I’m using a double net setup. The first scrog net is set at 1.40 m, and the second, upper net is firmly mounted at 2.50 m. Currently, the highest tops still have exactly 10 cm of space until they reach the second net. Since the stretch is over, she will perfectly latch into the upper net in the coming days. This will give her exactly the physical stability she needs for heavy flower production in the next weeks. The distance between the nodes (internodes) is about 2.5 cm, super compact and healthy.Defoliation & Environment: This week, a radical care unit is on the agenda. With a diameter of 3 meters, an impenetrable jungle forms damn quickly. I performed thorough lollipopping and completely cleaned the lower third of the plant. All shady, tiny flower sites and large fan leaves below are gone. This way, 100% of the energy from the thick stem is directed straight into the upper main buds. It also massively improves air circulation at the bottom, as can be clearly seen in the pictures of the exposed stem.Regarding the environment: My greenhouse is 4 m wide, 8 m long, 3 m high, and sits on a deep foundation. I am very lucky to be able to keep all the large windows (1.70 m x 1.20 m) and the large main door completely open 24/7, as the greenhouse is located in a secured garden. Together with a continuous 3 cm wide air gap in the roof, the chimney effect works perfectly to immediately expel moisture and prevent condensation.Watering & Fertilization: This monster has a massive metabolism and gets thirsty every 4 to 5 days. I always water only when the top 2–3 cm of soil are dry, so that the organic soil life in the deeper root zones stays active and happy.Clear water afterwards: Immediately after, I massively water 40 to 50 liters of regular tap water. This flushes the nutrients deep into the soil, where the huge root system can absorb them perfectly. The plant loves this rhythm and shows no signs of deficiencies or over-fertilization. The first beautiful white hairs (stigmas) are popping up everywhere and stacking closely together. Since this is the extremely resin-rich Papaya Frosting, the first sparkling trichomes are already showing on the young flowers. On to week 4 for the real swelling of the buds and the famous Cali frost! 🚀
