PavementPunk Decided to take a clone off my original Z42 probably right before it was too late to attempt. Ive had a slight issue with spiderweb mold growing on the surface of the soil around the base of the clone. Even a little on the other seedlings too. No worries i spritzed it with 3% peroxide. I think updating all these journals is more work than the actual gardening lol. Happy growing friends ✌️

PavementPunk 8/4/26 Z42#1 Clone — Week 1 (Vegetative / Day 7) Basic Information * Strain / Plant: Z42#1 Clone * Growth Stage: Vegetative (Week 1 / Day 7 in Veg) * Light Schedule: 18/6 (Indoor tent setup under LED panel — back right corner) * Container & Setup: Round black plastic pot with living soil indoor setup 💧 Watering & Nutrient Log * Jul 31 (Day 2 Veg): 0.1 Gal | 5 mL silica + ~3/16 tsp (pinch) Myco Plus (pH 6.4) * Aug 3 (Day 6 Veg / Yesterday): 0.1 Gal | Plain water perimeter misting with pump sprayer 🌱 Plant Specs & Health Check * Structure: Classic rooted clone profile featuring a slender, single main stem branching into a top fan canopy with fresh new shoot growth emerging at the apical tip. * Foliage Health: Lime-to-vibrant green upper shoot growth pushing out smoothly; lower established fan leaves extending horizontally with healthy leaf tissue and minor downwards leaf curl as roots continue taking hold in substrate. * Pot & Soil Environment: Living soil mix in a black nursery pot 📝 Weekly Summary / Update Notes Day 7 Veg Update: Z42 Clone (Z42#1) is sitting at Day 7 of Vegetative stage inside the indoor tent under an 18/6 light schedule. Applied a 0.1 Gal plain water mist around the container perimeter yesterday (Day 6 Veg) using the pump sprayer to encourage root dispersion outward, following her silica and Myco Plus application on Day 2 Veg. Fresh top growth is vibrant green and pushing actively at the growing tip as the root system establishes solid momentum. Happy growing friends ✌️

PavementPunk **Date:** Aug 12 | Day 14 in Vegetative **Strain:** Z42#1 Clone **Setup:** Outdoor Mesh Enclosure (Straw Mulch + Organic Living Soil) **Observations & Canopy Progress:** The Z42#1 clone is officially 2 weeks into vegetative growth and progressing smoothly outdoors. Canopy is lush and vibrant green, showing strong apical growth and expanding fan leaves. The stem has hardened off nicely and internodes are spacing out evenly. The straw mulch layer is keeping the upper soil layer moist and cool under the outdoor canopy setup. **Environment & Care:** Protected inside the mesh shade structure to keep heavy pests out while maintaining good airflow. Soil microbial activity benefiting from the Aug 5 Myco+ feed and yesterday's full 0.7 Gal pH 6.4 soak. **Actions & Plan:** * **Watering:** Dry-back period today following yesterday's full soak. Checking pot weight tomorrow before the next watering. * **Next Steps:** As lower secondary shoots begin pushing out, keep an eye on structure to decide on topping vs. LST to open up the middle canopy.
