ridgeleaf Excited to start a couple White Widow Autos from Homegrown Cannabis Co. for my fourth outdoor grow 🌱 @homegrowncannabisco I am starting 2 seeds directly in the soil, using Happy Frog Fox Farms soil in 7 gallon grow bags. I watered the soil and thoroughly mixed, planting both seeds in about 1/2 inch and lightly covered. They are sitting in full sun on a wooden pallet. Weather today has a high of 89 degrees F and low of 61 degrees F. β˜€οΈ Day 5: Plants 1 and 2 sprouts appeared. High 81/Low 71, going to rain and have some thunderstorms today. Day 8: First set of leaves forming and it is sunny high 86 low 69.

ridgeleaf White Widow Autos Day 11: First set of leaves forming, weather sunny high 90/low 69, occasionally raining. Day 15: 3 sets of leaves and they seem happy, there was a severe thunderstorm this afternoon and had to keep them from getting beat up. It's otherwise been hot and sunny high 89/low 72. Watered abit earlier this morning as well.

ridgeleaf White Widow Autos from Homegrown Cannabis Co Day 17: Plant 1 is about 3 1/2 inches and Plant 2 is about 3 inches. Plant 2 has minor tear, I think from a thunderstorm today. It has been sunny in the 80s with some storms, and it's gonna be in the 70s tonight. They are in full sun in 7 gallon fabric pots with Happy Frog soil from Fox Farms. Day 19: Both have grown abit taller and it is a warm sunny day, just adding some more images. Day 21: Plant 1 is looking strong, growth has become noticeably bushier, with several sets of established leaves and plenty of fresh growth developing around the top. Plant 2 is slightly smaller and has some brown/dry tips and margins visible on a few older leaves, new growth looks healthy though πŸ™‚ they are getting some intense sun, possibly the cause of the browning

ridgeleaf White Widow Autos from Homegrown Cannabis Co Day 25: Plant 1 is about 8.5 inches and Plant 2 is 9 inches. Started LST this weekend, bending both gently and tying them in place. Plant 1 is more compact/bushy and Plant 2 is a bit taller with some minor environmental stress/browning on fan leaves. It's going to be in the high 80s this week and temps overnight dropping to high 50s. I think overall healthy and progressing normally, excited to try LST. Day 27: Still growin...yep...some kinda bug is nibbling on leaves at night, not seeing any hiding under leaves, I might try moving them at night somewhere else to see if they stop doing that dangit πŸ€” suspecting culprit is living in some vines close to the pots lol Day 29: Both seem healthy and continuing to progress apart from some cosmetic damage from bugs and environment, haven't seen additional bites since day 27, moved to porch at night.

ridgeleaf White Widow Autos from Homegrown Cannabis Co Day 32: Both White Widow autos are continuing to make steady progress. The low-stress training is starting to show results, with the main stems staying low while several side shoots are becoming more noticeable. Some older leaves still show insect damage from earlier, but the newer growth generally looks healthy. Day 35: Can see that they have grown a bit larger over the past few days along with the side shoots becoming more noticeable. Annoying bugs visiting and chewing the leaves, but overall I think they are healthy and on track πŸ™‚ Tried some neem oil for the bugs last night.

ridgeleaf White Widow Autos from Homegrown Cannabis Co. Day 40: Plant 2 started clearly flowering, and I think Plant 1 is still in vegetative phase. It has been beautiful warm sunny weather and I have been keeping them hydrated and trying to fend off bugs that find the leaves delicious with neem oil. They are both about 15 inches and LST has helped, the main stems have stayed low while the side branches have turned upward and developed into multiple growing tops. They're still compact plants, but they're noticeably bushier and wider than they were a week ago. Both plants look healthy and green. Plant 2 is now focusing more heavily on flower development, while Plant 1 seems to have a little more time to continue growing before flowering begins. Day 43: Both White Widow autos are looking healthy and continuing to fill out. Plant 1 still appears mostly vegetative and is becoming noticeably bushier, with lots of healthy new growth and multiple tops from the LST. Plant 2 is clearly flowering, with white pistils now visible at several bud sites and some continued stretching.

@homegrowncannabisco, thanks! I am growing 2 for this outdoor grow, I ordered some more home grown cannabis co seeds (photoperiod varieties) and plan to grow/journal some indoors for the fall/winter and perhaps the other 3 white widows from this seed pack too 😎
