BudBeat Grandmommy Purple the second attempt. The first time the other lady stopped her growth. The second attempt has to work this time! But so far very promising 😏

BudBeat So far, not much has happened. Last week was really hot again 🔥. That's why I think the ladies are growing a bit slower than usual. I hope things really take off now.

BudBeat The Granny is being a bit fussy and is still growing weaker than the other ladies. But at least it's more than last time. The light is now about 400 ppfd and should be sufficient for now. I've given the lady some FishMix and CalMag. Maybe she'll grow stronger now? I'll only transplant into the big bed when the stems are stronger and the root system is well established.

BudBeat Third week and successfully planted in the big bed. Of course, the soil in the bed was refreshed and had its maturation time. This time I plan to keep the CalMag issues as low as possible. So far, it's working quite well. But everything is still in the beginning stages.

BudBeat The GMP worries me a little. It is growing a bit stunted and the leaves are developing somewhat more restricted. Its growth is also very stretched. I don't really like that right now, but what can I do? The soil is now being kept a little drier and let's see if it catches up? But fortunately, no deficiencies are visible.

BudBeat My little problem child is growing! But her growth is somehow weak and yet she is the tallest. Her spacing is very wide, which makes me suspect that she will be very big. The leaves are growing somewhat deformed. I'm going to stick with it and see what comes out in the end.
Update
Two days ago, I decided to integrate a net to equalize the height difference between the ladies. The GMP grew up too quickly, and I think I can tame her a bit. This way, other branches are free and can unfold.

BudBeat In the first week of flowering, not much has happened. Except for the development of the leaf mass. The lady is not ready for flowering yet. No female characteristics are visible yet. To help the plant a bit, I worked 200 grams of Bloomshot from Couple of Plants into the top layer of soil and then watered it. Right now, I'm paying more attention to the pH level of the water. Even though everyone always says not to worry about the pH level. In the past, I didn't pay attention to the pH level, and the plants were never how I wanted them to be. That's why I'm aiming for a pH of 6.6 now. The Cal/Mag issue is also absent, and the leaves are growing strong.

BudBeat The lady is taking her time. She's just now starting to form the first pistils. But she's put on a stretch that makes me wonder what else is coming my way in the next few weeks. Some of her branches are quite weak, and I might have to support the buds later on. But I'll see when the time comes.

BudBeat First, the Grandmommmy kept me waiting, and now she’s completely shooting for the stars 😱. Her height is now at 125 cm, and I don’t have much space left above with the lamp. Her branches are very thin, and I hope she develops some stability. Otherwise, I’ll have to figure out a way to support her somehow during the flowering phase. It’s definitely going to be an exciting time 😉.

BudBeat 5th week in flowering and from my perspective, it couldn't be going better.
The bed: I think the balance in the bed is finally established. A few days ago, I released the beneficial nematodes. They are supposed to do their job now and process old roots as well as the compacted soil. Every other time I water, I add 1 gram of Epsom salt to 1 liter of water. Since the increase in fungus gnats has been getting stronger, last week I released SF nematodes. I hope the invasion will be over soon?
Grandmommy Purple: luckily, the growth has stabilized and is now focusing on flower production. So far, it's still quite little, as it took longer for her to initiate flowering compared to the other ladies. Slowly, the trichome production is also getting started here. I think this lady will take the longest of them all. But let's see😉

BudBeat My little problem child keeps growing. I'm not completely satisfied with her development. Since a lot of branches have grown up high, the stems are very thin and therefore quite flexible. I had to use stakes for support to keep the branches somewhat stable. Her flowering development is also still very restrained. I'll see how the next few weeks go.

BudBeat The next week of Grandmommy Purple is starting. So far, I am disappointed with her. The development of the branches is very slow and also very thin. Meanwhile, the branches are not able to carry the fruits anymore. Therefore, I had to support and secure all of them. The development of the buds is also very strange. Quite airy and not as densely packed as expected flowers. But maybe it will change 🤷🏼♂️? The flowers are well covered with trichomes. Because the lady is almost touching the lamp, it is significantly warmer at the top and the leaves are also lighter.
Last week, I mixed 250 grams of neem cake flour into the bed. I had to deal with the fungus gnat larvae. And I must say, it has definitely significantly reduced the population.
Let's see where the journey goes?
