Today's subject of study is the Future Island, a hard-hitting hybrid creation from Anesia Seeds, which is 70% sativa-dominant. It combines exotic fruit aromas with impressive potency and promises an extraordinary grower experience. 1. Genetics & Lineage: Powerhouse from Future #1 and Imperium X Future Island combines the genetics of Future #1 and Imperium X. This results in a strong hybrid that performs exceptionally well even without support, but at the same time, it can handle a lot of training and targeted interventions from the grower. 2. Growth, Size & the Path to Massive Yield As a relatively large strain, Future Island loves well-draining soil, good nutrient supply, and plenty of light. In the grow box, it reaches a height of up to 130–160 cm, while it can grow to 200–270 cm outdoors. It develops thick, broad foliage in abundance, which is why experienced growers should prune, defoliate, and train it to open up the canopy and ensure adequate light penetration throughout the plant. Indoor yields of up to 650 g/m² are possible. 3. Aroma & Terpenes: A Basket Full of Tropical Fruits Thanks to the combination of a rich terpene blend, the buds have a sweet fruit aroma reminiscent of ripe bananas, melons, mangoes, and peaches. In the background of these cool fruity top notes, a subtler, fresh mint aroma reveals itself, making the taste predominantly sweet, fruity, and super smooth on the exhale. 4. Effects & Use: Overwhelming Euphoria With a whopping 34% THC, the effects of Future Island hit extremely hard, producing an uplifting, almost psychedelic mental euphoria as well as a deep, holistic stone.
