This is the start of the journal for our Snow Angel #6 that we dropped by seed. The lineage of Snow Angel #6 is Gold Star x Snow Leopard F3 (Bodhi on both). The difference between the #5 line and #6 is the mother. The mother of Snow Angel #6 is Lemon Mistress, a lemon pine-sol smelling wonder that was chosen from the F2 population. She is beginning to get sticky and the branches are hollow and fragile. I accidentally injured a branch last week when checking for smell. We just found out today that she was female, so we are very excited. So far we have identified 2 phenotypes in our number 6 line. She is doing a good indica "crowning" we like to call it (where the lower branches try to meet the tops of the branches that are higher). We are happy with the internode spacing. We haven't been keeping track of water yet. We just hooked up a water tank to a drip line this weekend. The smell is pleasant, more lemon than pine. This week we will do some low stress training in hopes of getting her a little more stiff. Near the bottom of the picture it may look strange. There are some other plants sharing the same grow box until the end of the week :) Thank you for looking. Please check out my other grow journals. I will try to be as detailed as possible. I welcome comments!

Snow Angel #6 is growing well. We are pleased with her rate of growth. More flowering sites are appearing (pistils). The appearance of pistils has always been later than the #5 line. This appears to be a trait that we can now say will appear more often than not. Considering our goal is to have a Sativa leaning hybrid with Snow Angel #6, it appears we are heading in the right direction (at least less Indica leaning than #5). John De Bong and I are both disabled, so we have decided to begin topping (2nd round) to make a total of 16 tops (goal). We will 'lollipop' everything below the 3rd flower site on each branch. We plan on scratching a mix of our own worm castings (light) and down to earth seabird guano, and langbeinite, followed by tea of the same.

I got a little bit behind. This is being written on 7/10/2019- so whatever that week is :) Sorry about that. I have CRPS and its been making typing difficult. Height is great. We fertilized more with bat guano and light worm castings yesterday and conducted soil tests.

Sorry for the delay, my disability doesn't allow me to journal as often as I would like. Snow Angel 6 is looking impressive. The stretch is more sativa leaning than the Snow Angel 5. The smell so far is of a lemon and pineapple smell on the branching. This one is also expressing the red vein in the branching. This should be included on all the journals, but we had a bit of a thrip infestation. Before it got bad, we trimmed excess vegetation aggressively over the course of a couple weeks. We then cleaned the heck out of everything and anything not growing (supplies, etc) was removed. The clear culprit was identified and removed (not one of our strains). The good news is that all of OUR strains remained relatively healthy.
