F3 Purple Auto Freak - Frumplepuff’s

Frumplepuff Ah yes the very natural and common 5 leaf seedling to start things off! I’m already so excited. 😭 I’ve decided whatever the outcome of this plant, I’m going to name it the Frumplepuff. I hope it does something as strange and ridiculous as last time. I have been absent a bit on here because I was lucky enough to have the plant kick start my YouTube account! My purple freak was viewed over 550,000 times 😭 I’m so grateful and excited at the same time. Unreal! ❤️ I’ll make sure to keep grow diaries posted every step of the way!

Frumplepuff Just a couple 8 day old seedlings!

Frumplepuff Males are starting to reveal themselves! Everyone has nice structure. No lanky ones everyone’s pushing out nice nodes etc! Should be another 2 weeks and I’ll be seeing who’s really gonna stay and who’s gonna go! I’ll keep a lot more males this time to be certain of my pollination success!

Frumplepuff Let's talk male selection. Freak show is an amazing cultivar to get an understanding of what it means to have a frosty male. Because the male flower is already open, it shows the anthers that are typically hidden. Because the anthers are exposed, you can see where the trichomes tend to build up on a male. No one has ever illustrated this to me, so I thought I would share this to you so that you can have a better opportunity to select good frosty males. You can also see some frost drops building up on leaves in the last two photographs. Though barely noticeable by comparison.
