I planted my seeds directly into a mix of Fox Farm's Ocean Forest and Bu's Blend compost. I am watering with filtered and dechlorinated tap water. I live in an area with good water. I plan on using some OG Tea products occassionally. I have a Mars II 900 LED in the 3x3 tent. There's a small clip fan for circulation and a MyCO2 Veg box adding some co2 to the mix.
Day 5, give or take a couple days from sprout depending on the plant. Just being fed tap water filtered through an rv filter. I am feeling good about the progress. It has been cooling off around here so I think temps are coming down nicely, but I like it a bit warmer because of the co2 supplementation.
Starting to do some leaf tucking on the larger 2. Progress is as expected. Dechlorinated tap water only. Somewhere around day 12 give or take a few days depending on the plant, the smallest was planted after the first seed failed to pop.
Just feeding filtered and dechlorinated water. Everything going good. Leaf tucking as needed. I have never grown these before so I don't know if the size is good for the time.
These girls are in flower. Feeding plain water, and Veganic Special Sauce every other watering. I avoid removing any leaves, natural growth seems to do em well.
So, I never have smoked a bad Mephisto strain. This continues that tradition. It's a great high. I harvested while the trichs were mainly milky with a bit of clear. The buds at that point were suuuuper hard to the touch. They dried for between 5-10 days depending on the plant. Not ideal, but my drying space isn't great and it's been cold as hell and the heat had been on, drying some out quicker. I purposely made as little effort as possible with these plants to test out my basic over the counter super soil mix. It's a 50/50 blend of Bu's Blend Compost and Fox Farms Ocean Forest. It worked remarkably well in my opinion, and I really didn't need to add anything. I did use Veganic Special Sauce, but that s mainly to keep up the beneficial microbes and stuff in the soil. I didn't PH, and I guesstimated the Veganic Special Sauce feedings. Then yield was good. The buds are insanely hard and I would say it's a 9/10 in density. The smell while growing was a super sweet candy fruit. The flower rosin from this stuff is ridiculous, tastes like lime candy. Instant budder too. Grow this. It makes a superb delicious blunt also, has a nice lingering aftertaste that my buddy says tastes like fruit loops.
Puts a smile on my face. Good antidepressant qualities. The rosin hits fast and gets you tapping your feet. I have shared this, all good reviews. Tasty, easy to grow, dank. Thanks for checking it out! I'll get more bud shots when someone with decent phone camera comes around!
Sorry broheem. Will correct that for you, there were still plants flowering, so in reality I am not done. I was going to do a comprehensive harvest post.
