Seedsman White Widow

BellaGrace Everything seems to be going well. I’m at week 3 already and just getting this journal started so it’s time to play catch-up.

BellaGrace One of these ladies leans more toward the indica phenotype but all three are white widow. I’ve really enjoyed watching them grow.

BellaGrace Defoliation week. I was nervous but I went for it. No turning back now.

BellaGrace Five weeks today from germination. I’m going to let them go one more week before switching to flower. I did one more defoliation and got the intake fan and carbon scrubber hooked up. Now I no longer smell anything until I unzip the tent. A few days ago my clip on fan fell on top of one of the plants and it damn near severed off a branch but I doctored it up and so far so good.

BellaGrace Ended up with a calcium deficiency but I believe its sorted now. Switched to 12/12 halfway through this week as all the space in my tent has now been filled out.

BellaGrace White Widow #1 has beautiful short but wide fan leaves. Because of this I have defolated this plant a lot. She’s definitely the odd one out of my 3 having different leaf structure & being the runt, from what I’m told it leans more toward its indica parent. #2 was growing pretty identical with #3 until a fan fell in top of her and nearly severed a main branch. A little painters tape for support for a few days and everything looks to be healed. There’s about a 7 inch height difference in my plants but I don’t have any more space in my tent for LST. I was thinking of putting the other 2 pots on books or something to raise them up and have an even canopy. ~Thanks for following ~ Happy Growing!

BellaGrace Widow #1 is 15 inches tall today, Widow #2 is 17 inches & Widow # 3 is 25 inches. I’ve propped the pots of 1&2 up on objects to make the canopy even in hopes they are all getting good light penetration. 3 still seems to be ahead of the others by leaps and bounds. I’ve wondered since germination which would be the best producer, I think 3 is going to be the one. As it’s been 2 1/2 weeks since the switch to 12/12 I did one last defoliation.

BellaGrace It’s exciting to watch the buds forming and fattening up, they smell so good.

BellaGrace The girls are starting to look frosty. Hairs on one plant are curling in and changing color already. Another 2 or 3 weeks and it should be harvest time.

BellaGrace 2 weeks left give or take. The smell makes it hard to wait but I know it’s going make some really good medicine. Two of the plants are doing well, the 3rd seems a little behind the others so I might give it an extra week under the lights.

BellaGrace Started the flush this week, colas are fattening up nicely. The clones I took about 4 weeks ago seem to have re-veged so when these ladies are finished it will be time for white widow round 2.

BellaGrace Shouldn’t be much longer, my guess is 1-2 weeks at the most but I’m checking the trichomes daily. I’m really pleased with this grow, and one plant particularly so I took some clones while in flower. I’m really glad I did because I hear they will branch out like monsters. They finally started showing new growth so if you’ve ever been interested in monstercroping, swing by and check it out.

BellaGrace This is my first harvest. Now that I’ve accomplished a harvest I’ve definitely learned a few things. Next time I will cut off the bottom branches to help the tops grow better. I like this strain so much I’ve got some monster crop clones going so I can grow it again
