The_Kitchen_Raccoon Hi guys, and welcome back ! 😎 For this run, we’re taking a closer look at Bay Burger, a cultivar I’ve been particularly curious to explore. Bay Burger is an intriguing strain with a genetic profile that brings together some seriously interesting characteristics. What caught my attention straight away is the combination of its distinctive terpene profile and the kind of balanced experience it’s known for. On the nose, Bay Burger has that unmistakable gassy, earthy and savoury character, with deeper notes that can lean toward spice, skunk and fuel, depending on the phenotype. There’s also a subtle sweetness underneath those heavier aromas, which should become much more pronounced as the flowers develop and the resin production ramps up. As for the effects, Bay Burger is known for delivering a potent but well-rounded experience, starting with a noticeable cerebral lift before settling into a more relaxed and calming feeling. It’s the kind of profile that should make for an interesting smoke once the plant has had plenty of time to mature and the terpenes have fully developed. That combination of genetics, strong aromas and relaxing effects is exactly what makes this one such an exciting cultivar for me to run. I’m particularly interested to see how the phenotype expresses itself throughout the grow and what kind of terpene profile she ultimately brings to the table. For this run, I’ll be using Soma’s Sacred Living Soil, with the goal of keeping the nutritional approach as simple, biological and soil-driven as possible. Rather than relying on a conventional bottled nutrient programme, I’ll be working primarily with the living medium itself, supported by Biobizz Root Juice and occasional compost tea applications. Because Sacred Living Soil is a relatively rich medium, I don’t want to push the young plant too hard from the beginning. She’ll therefore have a gentler start in Biobizz Light·Mix for the first couple of weeks, allowing her to establish a healthy and well-developed root system before being introduced to the living soil. From that point onwards, the intention is to let the biology do the heavy lifting and allow the plant to develop with as little unnecessary interference as possible. So, sit back, grab your favourite smoke, and enjoy the journey with me. 😎💚 The Kitchen Raccoon
