The_Kitchen_Raccoon Hi guys, and welcome back ! 😎 For this run, we’re taking a closer look at a very interesting new Delicious Seeds release: ZINNAPPLE, a cross of Zkittlez × Apple Fritter. The lineage is what really caught my attention here. On one side, you’ve got Zkittlez, bringing that unmistakable sweet, fruity and candy-like character, with layers of ripe berries and citrus. On the other, Apple Fritter brings its creamy, sweet apple and pastry-like profile, adding another dimension to an already seriously interesting genetic combination. Put those two together and you have the potential for a properly layered terpene profile, sweet apple, ripe berries, citrus and candy, sitting alongside creamy, pastry-like notes with a subtle gassy edge. That combination is exactly what I’m interested in exploring as the flowers mature and the terpene profile develops. For this run, I’ll be using Soma’s Sacred Living Soil, keeping things simple and biology-driven. I’ll start the plants in Biobizz Light·Mix to establish the root system before moving them into the richer living soil, with Biobizz Root Juice and occasional compost teas supporting the early development. What I really want to see is how the Zkittlez and Apple Fritter sides express themselves , plant structure, vigour, resin production and, most importantly, which direction the terpene profile ultimately takes. Zinnapple is reported as a mostly indica hybrid with a relatively short flowering period, and Delicious Seeds describes it as producing dense, heavily resinous flowers with the potential for striking purple colours depending on phenotype. New genetics are always exciting because the breeder can give you the lineage, but the plant tells you the rest. So sit back, grab your favourite smoke, and let’s see what this one can really do. 😎💚 The Kitchen Raccoon
