High_And_Hydro I didn't soak the cubes, and because of that, it took a whole week for them to finally germinate. Next time, I'll do it properly with a cotton pad and then into the soaked cube.

High_And_Hydro I still had the "old" version in my stash, and since it’s supposed to be very fast, it made it into the run. I'm excited and hoping for the purple pheno. It's positioned in the middle to keep the colors as symmetrical as possible during the grow. The other two will probably stay more green. I've expanded the setup a bit and got myself an AquaForte V30 Airpump, as the individual small pumps became too exhausting and unreliable for me. Additionally, I now have actively filtered fresh air controlled in the tent. The Vivosun controller is responsible for the fresh air, and I can also control one fan separately through it. The Vivosun temperature probe is in the intake duct, while the Trolmaster temperature probe measures the temperature directly at the exhaust, similar to a more modern combustion engine. I might need to swap the two probes around. Currently, the Trolmaster only controls the light with sunrise and sunset simulation. If needed, the air humidifier or dehumidifier will also be controlled through it. This time, the circulation should only blow from below through the plants and be directly exhausted from above. I want to see if this achieves a more even airflow and how the plants respond to it.

High_And_Hydro I water them every few hours with a cup and I've set the light to about 380 µmol/s/m², as long as the roots haven't reached the water yet. The BPP is the fastest of them all. It probably wants to make it in 8 weeks and is going full throttle right away 💪😄👍

High_And_Hydro She is the biggest and fastest, and I am satisfied. Yesterday I increased the light to 500 µmol/s/m².

High_And_Hydro She's really coming out strong and the stigmas are already clearly visible.

High_And_Hydro She's going full throttle and I've already trimmed her up. You can tell it's the Purple pheno, which makes me really happy. I noticed something interesting: after defoliating, my fingers somehow smell like 💩. Luckily, this smell never translates into the flavor profile, so it's not the end of the world. I deliberately chose not to supercrop the branches because I didn't want to interrupt their flow. The lighting isn't really set up for that, so I made some adjustments. I added another 200w lamp, and now they're all hanging turned 90°. This way, I can illuminate each plant individually and none of them get shortchanged. Unfortunately, it took me a few days to come up with this idea, so some potential might have been left on the table. This week, I switched to bloom nutrient solution and reduced the nitrogen. I also significantly decreased the calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate. The pH drift has completely resolved.
