Raffael Hey there, after the Frostbanger didn't want to cooperate, we let this beautiful specimen move into the bed. It's already been dealing with a slight trip infestation, but I'm feeling good about it :)
The substrate consists of 70% soil & 30% peat, along with a homemade fertilizer mix of short- and long-term fertilizers like alfalfa, cow manure, bat guano, algae, fish meals, and some rock powders. Plus, it's regularly boosted with bokashi juice and various homemade ferments & EM :) There are also about 2-300 compost worms, springtails, white and other pill bugs, some predatory mites & nematodes, and the full package, you know? :D
It's only the second run in the new bed, so it's still getting settled in.
Current temperature: 24.5 degrees
Current humidity: 75%
VPD: 0.75
Raffael The apple strudel is such a mix, I'm curious if it stays that way because in the first run in the bed, there was a plant in that spot that only grew half as big as the others :D but there are enough worms in there that should actually mix everything a bit more.. & the bed has been around for about half a year now, so it's really settling in :)
I really thought that if you don't top, they grow completely differently, but it's the same with every plant that all the shoots go to the same height, but isn't that too much? I can't really imagine that with 50cm spacing and 40%, I'm curious to see how it goes on.

Raffael Apple Strudel Auto – Week 4
The Apple Strudel has now completed its fourth week and has also started to bloom, currently it is at bloom day 5. In terms of growth, it remains rather compact and is clearly behind the other two plants in size. It is currently only about one to two centimeters taller than the Banana Purple, although the two appear quite similar in growth overall. The other two plants, on the other hand, are approximately twice as tall.
Otherwise, the Apple Strudel looks very good and healthy. The leaves look good, and there are no other noticeable issues. Let's see if it gets a growth spurt in the coming weeks and stretches a bit more, or if it generally belongs to the smaller plants.
