Homegro i started by putting 6 seeds into a wet paper towel, than into a sealed plastic bag. all 6 germinated! great succes 😁
after i immediately put them into a peat cube by root riot. and straight into the final medium. Coco coir mix by plagron.
still handwatering at this point with a little cup on top to keep the peat nice and moist!
i am going to try a 24 hour light schedule, inspired by another growers whose diary i read.
gentle PPFD to start, i tought it was around 300

Homegro started training super early! i want to create as much canopy as possible. to evolve to a nice SoG. Added cal mag as coco coir tends to take too much. using the ph down of hy pro because of the nitric acid, i think this will help leaf and stem growth.
using deionised water still atm.
super cool that i had a variegated plant!

Homegro this week was all about keeping my plants as low as possible and keep doing LST. the plants seem to respond good to the training, they are more bendy than i expected!

Homegro the LST is going great! its easier than i expected! The plants are also just muching away on the nutrients. if my runoff is to be believed, they can still get more? i dont believe it tough and decide opt for the safer route and not add too much. i also gave a tiny bit of green sensation, which in hindsight turned out to do more damage than good i think.
what i didnt expect is the rising of PH ( oxygen damnit! ) and the growing of bacteria ( and smell 🤢 ) in a nutrient vat thats just sitting still for 3 days!
this results in me starting to use prob way to much ph- to balance it everyday.
i will probably need something to move the water a bit, or just make less?
nute costs are also higher than expected 😅 so i will need to make some choices!

Homegro this week was a bit challenging, still struggeling with ph issues. i am still using the nitric acid from hypro. and because of i this i have elevated nitrogen levels ( unknown to me at the time) . i keep getting explosive leaf growth and keep doing pretty heavy defoils for this stage

Homegro So, flowering is doing good, but not great. the ph isuess were driving up the EC, so i fixed it by making my own phosphoric acid solution 🤓 super easy ( and damn cheap!! btw) this acid solution not only helps my flowering plants (phosphor) and regulates my PH but also doesnt affect EC !!
ive cut some nutes out of the schedule and upped others, but taking it easy so they can recover from my ph fuckups 😅

Homegro Alright we made it to halftime! (or so i think?)
the flowering is picking up pace but still the buds are not immensely fat. they do look frosty, and if u touch them u have the sweetest aroma of candy, fruits and a bit off gas on ur hands.
the weird piston looking thing gave me a scare, thinking i got herms in the tent. a friend reassured me im fine, but i do need to keep watching if the white hairs keep turning. apparently them changing color is a sign the plants are goong to finish?
hope not!
il just check the trichomes on the plant and decide when il harvest.
one of the benefits of 24 lights, is that i can remove something when its done and leave the rest. no need messing with ligjt schedules and leaks ;)
allright, i think we are up to date ;)
