The seeds popped nicely with tiny taproots visible! Today they were moved into Eazy Plugs. To create perfect conditions, the mini-greenhouse sits on a heating mat while the damp cotton pads help boost relative humidity. As soon as the roots poke out of the bottom, they are heading straight into the DWC system! 🚀🤞
💬 Update 2:
The little ones are making steady progress! One seedling has already broken through the Eazy Plug and fully opened its cotyledons.
I put the waiting time to good use and did some DIY crafting: built a custom PVC pipe frame for the SCROG net and future undercanopy lighting. The grid fits right over the DWC setup. As soon as the roots are ready, the ladies will move into their final home! 🚀💥

🚀 It's official: The ladies have officially moved into their DWC reservoir! The Eazy Plugs were carefully placed into the net pots and secured with clay pebbles. ✨
🌱 The front autoflower from the Fast Buds mixpack is standing proud, showing off her first true set of leaves! ☀️ The second lady in the back is a bit slower🏷️💧
To give them a solid start, the 15-liter tap water reservoir is primed with our first mild feed: 3g Masterblend (4-18-38), 2.5g Epsom salt (MgSO₄), and 3g Calcium Nitrate. Veg Week 1 is live – time for those roots to reach the water! 🚀💚

The plants are continuing to gain height and develop new sets of leaves in the DWC system. ✨🌱 The front autoflower is stretching up nicely and pushing out new growth at the top. Her lowest leaves are starting to yellow slightly – a clear sign that she’s consuming her stored nutrients and getting hungrier for the feed! Meanwhile, the second lady in the back is still enjoying her cozy humidity dome setup. 🏷️💧
The DWC setup is running smoothly and the girls are drinking up. Keeping a close eye on EC and pH levels to make sure we give her the right nutrient boost as growth accelerates! 🚀💚

🚀 Welcome to Week 3! On the surface, it feels like growth has slowed down a bit—but looks can be deceiving! The plant is putting all of its energy into building a massive underground network right now. ✨
🌱 While top growth seems to take a short breather, things are popping off down below: a quick peek into the bucket shows white, healthy roots bursting out of the net pot and shooting straight down into the water! 💧✨
