Balconeras

santiconte First time growing autoflowers outdoors. They're on a balcony with 5/6 hours of direct sunlight on 12-hour light days. I'm from Argentina and we're 10 days away from the start of spring, so we hope that the increasingly longer days will give the plant more light. I have the option to move them to another balcony to get 9/10 hours of direct light, but I’m not sure if that would be counterproductive due to plant stress. We'll see xd. They're in 12.5L pots with premium elixir substrate; organic compost, perlite, peat mix, vermiculite, and worm humus. This Saturday marked a week since they sprouted from the soil, and I started giving them the Deeper Underground rooting solution from Top Crop. It'll be every Friday, once a week.

santiconte Week 2 for these two little plants, they look good. Today marks 14 days since the seedling popped up, they're like in the last photo. Could they be bigger? Maybe, but at least they grow a little every day. I started measuring the pH of the water, and I'm watering them between 6 and 6.5, about every two days with around 500/600ml of water and every Friday with the rooting agent from Top Crop. I've been moving them around quite a bit, to be honest. They sleep inside, then I take them out to a balcony where they get 5/6 hours of sun, and around 2 PM I move them to another balcony for another 4/5 hours of light. I think they're doing well.

santiconte Day 21 since the seedling popped up. I'm happy because they're growing a lot. They're getting about 10/11 hours of direct sunlight on days with 12 hours of light. The experiment of moving them from the balcony every day is going well. I water them once every 3 days or so with 1 liter of water. I replaced the rooting agent with the top auto. Once a week. 2.5ml/l. The pH is between 6/6.5. I'm going to try applying the LST technique; I started on day 20 when I saw that I already had 3/4 nodes.

santiconte Week 4. They grew a lot. I’m following up once a week with the top auto. 2.5ml/l with water pH between 6 and 6.5. Moving it every day so they get 11 hours of direct light. This is the first time I’m using the LST technique, and it seems to be going pretty well. I don’t know if you can see much in the photos, but I managed to get all the branches a good amount of light and there are 5 or 6 tops. This Monday, September 28 (23 days since the seedling), the first pistils appeared, so I’m starting pre-flowering.

santiconte Week 5. They've had a nice stretch, especially the first few days of this week. I'm not moving them around much anymore. They are getting 5/6 hours of direct light every day. These days have been a bit lazy, very cloudy, with a lot of rain, and I think it's going to stay like this all week. We're still doing the auto topping once a week and keeping the pH between 6 and 6.5. The LST didn't turn out as I imagined, but I think the best I achieved was creating a couple of tops and ensuring they all get light.
