Dr. Grinspoon by Munchies(blacklisted)

i really wanted to give this legendary sativa a try out and thanks to @barneys i can start try it out ! thank you guys,i've read this is one of the most dificult to grow strains so it will stay during seedling stage inside with 18 hours of light and then will be planted directly in prepped soil outside! hope for the best results with this long running strain ! -day 5 of life and dr.gringspoon is doing just fine,will update pics when i get a new phone tuesday,she will stay inside a 90x90 cm tent and will try to fill up a scrog net with her in a 20l final pot,cheers !

--day 8 for the DOC ! everything is fine with this lovely doc and will be getting more roots and humic acid,will start adding nutes in 1-2 weeks,after transplanting --day 12 for the doc,getting alot of growth over the last 4 days,im baffled at how fast she growing,simply loving it so far !,will be adding nutes from next week and will transplant by week 4 ,she is getting water with the above solutions on the bottom tray under the pot ,avoiding damping off this way,maybe it will help someone one day ;) cheers nd thank you for following !

--day 15 for the Doc ! everything is fine,got some growth in the last days and im proud of her ! next week she will be transplanted,start eating veg nutes after recovering will start training the shit out of her ,really windy outside so if some pics are unfocused you can blame the wind 😅 --day 19 for the Doc! got her first dose of Organic Grow Liquid 0.5ml/l and the reaction was surprising,she even took some LST bending and once again she bounced back quick ! she will be transplanted on tuesday 😇 --day 21 for the Doc! got 4 cm growth in the last 2 days,things are fine ,growing like it doesn't care ,stil drying the soil out,will transplant tomorrow in a 25L fabric pot and in about a couple of days i will start butchering the girl,wish me luck !

---day 22 for the Doc! after getting my packages with some upgrades for my tent i had the surprise finding my cool tube cracked in more than one place,damn curier could not handle "fragile" packages corect and im lucky that the grow shop will change it,so going back to the doctor ,she was transplanted in a 25L fabric pot,added some perlite(a handfull) on the bottom them added soil on which i sprinkled some living organics ,then i mixed it good ,put the pot to aproximate on how much i will bury the stem a bit to handle the height she gained in the last days,then carefuly tried to put her on the center,want symmetry on this girl,she gotta look as a masterpiece in the end,she was transplanted with 100% succes ,after that i gave her a good dose of root juice around the new soil,want to prompt the roots to dig in the damp soil,added some perlite on top then she went trough the 1st step of mani folding,got cut after 3rd node ,everything up until that node was removed,took 3 samples for clones,cubes buffered at 6.0 ph,cut the long leafs ,hope for good results ! feel free to tell me if something is not ok or if im not doing anything,or just an opinion ,every bit of help is welcome ! HAPPY GROWING ! --day 24 for the Doc! recovered after the brutal 1st step of mani folding ,decided to anchor the fan leafs on a straight line to make way for the new colas to grow out,added some water and in a couple of days will tie the new colas and wait for the oportunity to take 2nd step in topping and removing unwanted growth,will try to aim for 5 toppings to get an even ammount of 32 colas,we shall see what happens,i want a big ass scrog grow ! LETS GROW THIS SHIT ! happy growing ! --day 25 for the Doc! did some lst to get the 2 stems growing as i want them too --day 26 and symmetry is showing up ,just love it !

---day 29 for the Doc! just growing and growing,removed the big fan leafs ,modified the way she is tied down and waiting for the 2nd topping window,will hold back on nutes for a while ,will go with only water,HUMIC ACID and MORE ROOTS for the next days and alot of dry days ahead,happy growing ! ---day 31 for the Doc, 1 month! today i topped again ,fed some nutes and took some clones andmade some as explicit as posible pics to help people who have trouble when or how to top.I know some people tend to wait for more nodes to grow but my girl is growing good and fast so she doesn't care about anything i do to her at the moment,just watching the nutes since i said on day 29 i will go only with water but i decided to reward her since i cut her 😺 ----day 34 for the Doc ! removed the big fan leafs,tied the new 4 collas which i will gladly cut once again somewhere around mid-next week😇 gave her some water at 6.5 with humic acid and some cal mag just in case,i want to avoid any deficiencies,want a purrrrfect grow with her ! but we all know perfect doesn't exist,so little accidents happen ,as me cracking one of the new colas 😷 but it's just a stratch i say,so let's see her keep on growing ! --day 36 for Dr Grinspoon powered by GBL NUTRIENTS ! today i decided to top 3rd time ,she decided to not go symmetry like on me ,as you can see i took pictures of each cola before actualy topping and one was growing as she wanted,well this is mother nature,can't actualy control something in a 100% rate ,i'm happy that she is growing and growing like nothing is happening,got some red blood leakings which made me curious to say at least,i know it's nothing to worry about so let her grow more and more ! i want a beast ! 😇happy growing folks ! ty for dropping by ! --day 42 for The Doc! tied her new nodes again,she fucked up my symmetry a bit but still will have a nice big girl,this ends week 6,i think of 2-3 more weeks of veg to get nice canopy on which to throw a SCROG NET p.s. she starting to smell good 😍

--day 45 for The Doc ! new tips growing good,soon i will top one last time and wait for the perfect moment to flip lights and put the net,stay tunned!👌 --day 47 fort The Doc ! awesome growing in 48 Hours ,she got last night 2ML of ORGANIC GROW LIQIUID and she simply loves it,seems i got a nice stable phenotype which likes to fuck up my symmetry that i'm trying to achieve,waiting 1-2 more days before i top again ,i want some more clones ,as this project is indoor ,it remains still unknown to my whole family and they can fuck off and let me finish my masterpiece p.s. don't mind the higrometer i had to refill my humidifier to drop tems and get humidity up again,she has constant 25-27 celsius and 40-50humidty

--day 50 For The Doc,so i decided not to top again,and let her grow but will keep streching the new tips and training her to the point at which my tent is around 60% full at a horizontal area,then will flip to 12-12 and add a scrog net,she isn't getting nutes untill i see her getting a bit pale,happy with growth rate and recovery after each bend and tie,took some work and it was preety hard to get at around 80% symmetry after the 2nd topping,any suggestion is welcomed ! thank you and wish you all the best !

---Day 57 For The Doc,today she will get water and humic acid,around 1L . She was unfeed or unwatered for around 1 week,no cares,wanted the soil to dry out properly and get oxygen to the roots,as for size,she is going crazy,had to defoliate some of the inner old fan leafs,did some lst again,will flip lights by end of this week,depending on growth,if not 1+ week and she is on 12-12,happy growing ! ---Day 62 For The Doc! got my elastic scrog net shipped and my new ph and temp meter(which got here broken 😅) gonna get it changed tomorrow ,no problems until then,i decided to defoliate heavy before the 12-12 flip which will be officialy in 2 days when week 10 of life starts,she ussualy recovers after toping/defoliation/lst,over night so i guess she will be ready by then ,i did a full clean up on the tent,used detol solution to clean it ,left it 2 hours to ventilate itself ,The Doc had a lot of growth lately,she didnt get water almost at all during the last week,will water her in a couple of minutes after i write this new update ! so excited ! ---Day 63 For The Doc ! got watered with humic acid and more roots and 1ml of grow liquid,for the last time ,tmr i will flip lights and will wait for preflowers patiently 😇 don't mind the humidity while the tent is open wide,it drops

---day 71 For The Doc! sorry for the week absence,had some issues to tend with ,she is growing good ! loving it under the net,each time i pass by the tent i look in and have to get more side branchings under 😅 i've got a surpsie coming in soon so stay tuned ! p.s. i got a clone i neglected from this lady which is in 2 rock wool cubes gorwin her roots and has a night light green to it,will feed it soon and i think she will go only like she is ,maybe i will do a diary of her separately,idk,she was neglected and has 4 nodes and is 1 month old 😇 but doesn't care and keeps on living

--day 88 For The Doc ! preflower is happening all over,streching like crazy! I have to bend and put branches under the net on a daily basis,sometimes even 2 or 3 times a day,she is getting fed 1 time a week and gets water 1-2 times a week as well,i want her to oxygenate the roots as much as possible in preflowering days,want fat doc balls ! soon i will defoliate a bit to make way for the light to hit all hidden bud sites ,will keep adding fast buds until the streching is over then will start adding more PK and see what happens,will lower the ph steadily to a 5.9-6 and see how she likes the more acitid envoirment ,added some alg a mic from biobizz too,wanting to avoid extra stres so i'm combating it with some extra stimulants,so far she loves it after using it for the very first time 2 days ago ,any feedback is welcomed ! this year this is my grand project and it's a delight growing this heirloom landrace sativa ! 💪✊ as for the absence,was busy with harvesting my other plants,trimming ,and it was a long 2 weeks ,working around 9 outdoors here plus 38 at my other spot,it was a blast,didn't get as much as i expected outdoors this time around..buuut i have alot of good seeds for next year😇 will be much more selective about my grows,at least after growing so many strains i know which is good here and which not ,always venturing into new strains and growing makes you learn more and more ,we learn as we grow and vice versa💪 ---day 91 for The Doc,last day of this week and i postponed the defoliation until today,did not do a full schwazzing but instead defoliated only the leafs which were under the net and the ones that were blocking bud sites,she seems to breath better from the first sight.Was happy that she did not become droopy at all,i think she loved getting rid of excess leafs,as i ussualy give a nice treat to her after some stress, i decided to water 2 L buffered at 6.0 ph ! see you tmr on week 14th p.s. almost got a nice hydro mars sponsorship but sadly it didn't work out ,they wanted to give me a TS 1000 but that would cover only 60x60cm in the bloom period and my plant is well past 60x60cm...well i love my 250 W HPS 😍

---day 100 for The Doc,been busy with work in the last days so could not update so often,she seems to develop and develop,seems she is slower in flower ,so the patience gotta be big ,will come with more pictures in the next days,happy growing ! munchies out !

--day 106 for the Doc,seems we're in the 4th week of flower,full bloom as it strongest,trichomes are starting to show up here and there and buds start forming properly,still 8-12 weeks to go 💪 I needed to defoliate a bit more today due to the fact that many leafs were blocking light to bud sites and had a couple of them hanging under the scrog net without any light hitting them,so they went off too,little energy suckers,so all things considered i added nutes today since she wasnt feed any nutes in the last 14 days at all ,no nute burns,no deficinencies,seems i've taimed this girl and she's loving my care . --day 111 for the Doc! today is a dry day,she is doing her thing,seems some more flowers popped up and she frigging loves life,go Doc go ! Will try to keep more updates 😇

--Day 113 for The Doc! things are smooth,added nutes today and she is just not giving a fuck about anything,happy overall,buds start gaining some weight,much nicer in smell,which is going into a citrus like danky rich smell ,more and more trichomes showing up ,saw 2 leafs losing color,maybe it's senscence? she has around 16 celsius during nights ,i can't find another reason,anyways...i decided to post this little dr. Grinspoon clone which is in rock woll only and doesn't give a fuck either,she is outdoor,was fully outdoor since she established roots and went with the 2nd cube,the smell on this one is a bit different but still ranges betwen citric and danky **i don't know exactly how old is the clone but i presume around 8 weeks ,will have to take a look later on and find out an aproximate number ,munchies out ! --day 118 for The Doc! buds more nd more fat,trichomes exploding this week and i decided to remove somee leafs today,which were tangled betwen each other,so in order to avoid condensation i decided to take a hand full of them off the whole plant,as a surprise i found new budsites and i guess she loves it since a nice aroma of lemon and honey started floating around the tent after that ,hope that is a good breather for her

---day 122 for The Doc ,A forest is happening there and today is a dry day for her ,no water ,no nutes,just waiting for soil to dry up at least 1cm deep when sticking a finger in it then will start adding nutes again,the color on her leafs seem to be healthy,light green color so it sticks to the data sheet from the website so i'm truly happy ! i am really sorry for not updating 2 days prior to this but i was busy preparing some fudgy canna brownies for my birthday which was yesterday and i got one of the best presents a grower would've wished for ! i was on another plain of high times yesterday and i decided to share the fudgy brownie recipe with you guys ,as well as how i made the canna butter ,Enjoy! ***recipe at bottom ---day 126 for The Doc,still not dry enough to water again,so she can stay one more day like this ,want to let them roots breathe a bit ,want nice juicy n sticky Grinspoon balls ,smell is still forming so i guess until the last days i won't know an aproximate as in how she will end up smelling,i see some color changes on the hairs so i guess soon she will stop streching and focus only on trichs and bud size/weight ,so i 80% presume that i will have around 6 weeks left before she is ready for harvest,still i will want a bit of ambers scatered here and there,will love to have a narcotic Doc in the jars ,i think on exactly 6 months of life she will be chopped,we'll see Anyways i tried counting bud tips/heads and i lost myself around 90 ,due to being baked as fuck in the morning and they're too many and sticky ,but thats never a bad sign,right ? i guess i'll see you tomorrow on week 19 ,happy growing ! medical grade cannabutter recipe(from trimmings and popcornbuds) : -150 gr unsalted butter -40gr mostly trimms and popcornbuds -oven cooking tray -cheese cloth -plastic/glass bowl with cover -rubber band Preheat the oven at 125celsius,place the herbs in a cooking tray for around 40-50 minutes,until you see the herbs going light brown,then pour 2 glasses of water in a stockpot/safe pot/unsticky and bring it to a boiling point ,put the butter sticks(150gr) inside and stir until it melts on LOW HEAT ,add the weed and keep stirring from 15 to 15 minutes for 3hours,after you finish you will need a cheese cloth and a plastic/glass bowl to rinse the mixture ,use the rubber band to make a rinser with the cheese cloth on a bowl and start pouring easy,at the end you will have to squeeze the fuck out of the cheese cloth to get the remaining butter off ,put a cover over the bowl you have the mixture in and let it sit in the fridge for around 3-4 hours ,after you will easily remove the top side of the bowl which is the butter and get rid of the shit water which remains beneath the butter ,enjoy a medical high beauty Fudgy brownie recipe : 250g Dark chocolate/56% cocoa chocolate(i used one called "noir" from nestle) 150g Unsalted butter(85%fat) 150g(3 medium eggs) Egg 150-170g Brown sugar 2g Vanilla extract 50g All-purpose flour  45g Cocoa powder  2g Salt for the brownies please visit the link below since its much easier and enjoyable to use it as a step-by-step video tutorial ,but please use the measurments i left if you will ever want to try it ,for me it was a delight and i was so fucking high yesterday ,i think i ate a bit too mane cuz i could not figure out the dose since it's a trial and error thingy (as many people said to me ,eating weed is kinda tricky) but still,melts inside your mouth,perfectly balanced sweetnes and full of flavour ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IRilKlXAOI

---Day 127(flower week8) For the Doc,feeding day,nutes and all,a little defoliation because i keep noticing more and more buds stuck betwen branches under the canopy so i tried to make some way for the light to hit almost everything it could ,tied down 3-4 branches and every single leaf that was under the net and didnt get any light and was just consuming energy for the sake of consuming were cut down,i know its not good to defoliate in mid-late flower but i had to do it ,now the smell from her is even stronger than ever,im simply so happy i can expirience this amazing grow and i'm happy soon it will be over,hairs are 5-10% brown, still she is kinda fast in flower despite the stories i've read and despite other diaries i checked,hope to get off with 90-95 days of flower ,as the website indicates! stay tuned for more updates ! munchies out ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---Day 129 For the Doc,so i decided today to add some more light ,a cfl 125W which i put hanging verticaly above one half of the plant and moved the HPS a bit more to the back of my tent and saw a huge light improvement. The light penetrates the canopy much better than before!! Super happy with how stuff look so far and i've been baffled of the plants stem before but after seing it trough the tents window ,i was simply speacheles ! this plant turned out to look so good despite the fact that i kept looking for some light company, which maybe was willing to sponsor the full flower cycle of this plant to give it more juice and promote its merchs but seems it's not worthy 😂 anyway ,added pictures without the cfl and after installing it *****aded a heat blower to combat the cold weather which enveloped my country lately and dropped my temps quite alot these past days,just want to avoid any mold,rot,shit issues in general which have to do with humid cold envoirments😇 *****I even flushed her bottom salts out and checked for runoff ph which was 5.8 ,for me it seems perfect,in the right range to suck in cal and mag and intake nutes at a balanced rate,not overdoing on the tonics and stimulants as it will make the nutrient uptake a bit higher and i don't want to risk any burnings,she is in a tip top condition and will get trough the finish without a single problem;always check and always tend to your girls each and every day,twice or more if needed,the results will come each and everytime! *****buds started foxtailing ,which is good and i think i know which pheno i have ,stay tuned for more ! ---day 133 for The Doc ! last day of week 8 of flower decided to take some close up shots of the buds and they start foxtailing but still retain some nice density ,added 4L of water at 6.2 ph and will keep going just like that for about 2weeks,water>dry day>water,planning one last feeding after that and will repeat this same process again,everyday i'm more pleased of what is coming out of this plant! p.s. she loves the extra power she gets so i guess it's just a waiting game from now on Munchies out 💪

---day 135 for The Doc! things are smooth and i checked trichomes,most of them seem milky,kinda weird considering the fact that this girls should have by the chart indicators around 4-5 weeks of flowering left,noticed a bit of nute burn but i think it was from the last feeding or somehing like that buuut it's like she didn't care ,buds are growing and growing,foxtailing all over the place,not much more i can write today 😅 ---day 139 for The Doc! dry day ,inspected buds,they seem fucking dense and even with foxtailings ,they are dense as fuck ,trichomes everywhere,building up daily,even to the naked eye they seem milky ! leafs seem happy as always ,despite a few days here and there until now ,nothing more than water JUST when needed seems the pharmacy lady gave me wrong size of gloves=)) ****always new pic updates will stay on top of previous ones

---day 144(flower week 10,day 73) The Doc just loves it ! gave her nutes on a low dossage 2 days ago and the reaction is marvelous ,thinking if i should go with water until i finish or apply one more feeding,i estimate around 25 days of flower left😅 but it's a not so sure thing with this girl,this particular strain is kinda decieving in the way it grows,the flower cycle is much different than on other plants,she does it random,meaning she doesn't follow a strict flowering path like other strains mostly do, but this is her way of thriving and can't argue with that ,it's mother nature's way with her. For me she's a beauty,showing big calyx structure ,more yellow hairs each day and seems all the patience until now has paid off,but im still a bit confused regarding if i should or not feed one more time next week but i will see how she goes,she has started showing 1 or 2 ambers here and there,which for me is a clear indication of starting to flush but i want those balls bigger so i'm just going with my "rabbid flower cycle" theory ,soooo i find out what to do in a couple of days ---day 145(flower week 10,day 74) The Doc is on a frenzy and gaining weight,balls are swolling,more nd more trichomes,hairs curling in and this stuff is happening all around the canopy so it's good,i will water today with 6 L of Tap water,check out the newly update pics,loving the trichome ratio so far and how the buds are forming -- particular advices from hardcore sativa runners would be apreciated ,thank you in advance ! munchies out !

---Day 148(fl week 11 ,day 77) For The Doc ,NOW WHAT A WEEK HAS IT BEEN ! finaly i'm starting to feel satisfied with this looooong grow! hurray! 💪 i see much development has occured in the last days,meaning,trichomes have stacked up in big numbers,ratio trichomes/leaf is superb at this moment ,calyxex are swelling up more and more ,loving the rabbid girls interesting flower cycle,pistils are turning brown and red all over the place ,still only around 10-20%. The smell is rich sweet with deep hints of citric fruits and coffee ,i don't know how to say this but the smell almost makes u dizzy 😆 thats interesting ! stickines is present on each bud ,top to lower. I even tried watering at around 19celsius in order to force some senescence into her ,i would really love to get that dark red/purple coloring at the end,i can see some slight color degradations on some smaller leafs ,hard to notice but it's definetly there,she got 6 L of water today at 6.2ph with the above boosters,i guess soon i will start flushing because she seems to rush it to the end ,basicaly she would have left around 18 days of flowering according to the official website data sheet ,i hope for a before xmas harvest 😎 ****made a short video showing how the buds formed and how much is under the top of them :D ,a bit blurry sometimes,gotta excuse my shity phone ---day 150 (fl week 11,day 79) so today i decided to do a little makeover on the scrog net,i've realised i have so many side branchings that they were almost suffocating there because the buds were gaining weight and i honestly am a bit sad i fucked up the canopy symmetry but fuck it ! i prefer bigger yield😍 I'm so curious how much will this girl give in the end ,difficult to estimate since she is gaining weight like there's no tomorrow and i got lots of surprise buds to the modifications i made today,i stressed her out a bit but she will not give a single care,see you in a couple of days ! munchies out ! ---day 151 (fl week 11,day 80) stuff seemed to be ok but as i looked deeper into the girl i found many side branching not having enough air and i decided to tie some of them in the middle and re-organise again all around the scrog net ,now i'm past my symmetry maintaing issues and i better get a much nicer yield and fat ass dr grinspoon buds/balls or what are those ,i still think she looks lovely like this ! munchies out

---day 155(fl week12 day 85) For the Doc ,she is building mass and density daily ,trichomes are mostly cloudy with some ambers here and there ,i decided to start flushing her today ,i used around 16 L of water for my first round.The shit that came out of the bottom was ugly as fuck ,plus within the flushed out water you could see sparkly shit ,so i assume that's alot of built up salts.I hope she will reward me with bigger and bigger grinspoon buds/balls after this,in ar ound 4-5 days i will flush again and keep on going with some water here and there until day 100 of flower,will check trichomes by then and she will stay 24-48H in a night state,maybe she will reward me even more😍 ***i think she wanted to grow extra roots since i have those thingies at the bottom part of the stem ,any feedback on that is apreciated ! ---day 159(fl week 12 day 89) For the Doc ,she is loving the life to such an extent that she had popped some nanners,i don't mind having some grinspoon extra seeds but this is kinda odd ,i had to get her out of my tent ,it was a hard task.the stem wanted to colapse from the flower weight and i had to secure it with some ropes,today she is sitting alot in the bathroom shower and is getting hard lfushed 50 L of 6.5 PH water ,after spending several hours in the shower and the dripping stops i will put her gently inside the tent ,she will be ready in about 10-12 days (2 Hours later )I Decided to get her faster inside the tent and put her with the back side facing the front side ,i saw the back collas didn't get as fat as the front ones so i'm praying for them to get a bit denser,you can see on the last picture that she is lacking on that side ,focusing light more on that spot ,lowered my light 5 CM ******always check your plants at the end of flower because unexpected stuff can occur,i think main reason was ,.temps dropping and fucking up my night humidty,i used a heat blower but temps during night fall at around 17 celsius ,which maybe stressed the shit out of the plant ,or i fucked her up when getting the secondary growth out of the canopy to get air and light ...so i'm not upset in the end ,will just pluck nanners off and that's it ! HAPPY GROWING EVERYONE ! ---Day 161(fl week 12 day 91) For The Doc! not so much to report,buds fattening and she is giving me some confusion alerts as in lots of white pistils on bigger buds but smaller ones are with much more brown pistils,check out pics ,hope she will be ready soon 😅 munchies out !

--day 162(fl week 13 day 92 ) For The Doc !! ALMOST THERE ! today it was her last flushing with runoff ph coming at 6.5 ,ppm down to normal range of 600, she will surely start eating herself soon enough and i hope no more "nanners" show up ,i can say hairs are more than 50% brown,but still she has some days to go,i suppose i will chop her down at 100 flowering days,i switched my light to 10-14darkness now,in 2-3 days im going with 8-16 it's a useful trick to use with long flowering sativas,to remember trying to get out the purple/redish color out of her with some waves of cold air in the mornings but nothing,guess she will not change colors,it's totaly fine with me 👌 happy growing ! munchies out ! --day 163(fl week 13 day 93) For The Doc!! well i'm sure i will be able to harvest on day 100 of flower ! YEY! this journey will come to an end soon ,i like how the trichomes look,it's dang hard to take pictures with a shitty gib microscope but i managed to get some partial blurry ones ,sorry for that but i think it is enough for us to distinguish whats going on there,i did not spot any more nanners but i saw on this bud future seed sites,guess i'm lucky to harvest on that particular day,maybe no seeds or even if i have one or two i don't mind,this strain is a definetly must have in your arsenal of seeds 💪happy growing ! --day 165(fl week 13 day 95) For The Doc!! things are going along nice,more and more hairs are brown,one colla was chopped down,trichs seem just fine for me,plus it hits hard ! i've just smoked one and it's frigging wonderful ! i baked it and smoked it,i don't care if it's a fast dry for a sample but it still breaks down the thca into thc while baking 💪so im happy ,got some trichome pictures too back up my idea and plan,sorry about not so focused trichome pictures,hand microscope.they suck for pics:( chopped down top of colla had --with trims/leafs52G wet , --without trims and fan leafs 35 I tell you folks it is going to be a pain in the ass to trim this whole girl when she is down,will trim the rest of the plant after she is chopped and dried,it's gonna be a long trim session 😅 unfortunately no baking soda today but i will wash the rest of the plant when i will harvest next week,she is planned on going in a dark room for 48 Hours starting tuesday,she has some redish looking color in some buds,sublte and it can be seen on some older fan leafs things i checked before chopping down the top of this cola were --trichomes first thing i always check but it's always a own pref. when choosing the right desired combination of trichomes --calyxex ,if they are swollen like having seeds inside that means a yes for me --pistils/hairs more than 60% brown/red for most hibrids these days but for some strains it can be tricky,like white widow,matanuska thunderfuck and so on --leafs and buds ,if they are crispy at touch and wilting,yellowing or curling it's a sign it's close to harvest, --day 166(fl week 13 day 96) someone told me my plat is re-vegging....is he right ? i ve looked into this article https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/accidental-re-vegging no re-veg so stuff are ok ,weather outside is good so my temps inside tent arent dropping anymore,luckily i will maybe let her go more than planned,want rippe as fuck dr grinspoon balls

****The Doc! Dr. Grinspoon is a strain named in honor of the Harvard professor and cannabis advocate,Dr.Lester Grinspoon,bred by Barneys farm ,which is a absoulte delight for the weed connoisseurs all over the world,i dont even know where to start.. As i've looked back into it ,it was a damn long run,almost 6 months! WOWIE ! she went 169 days ,with 99 days of flower. Now this strain is well known to be a difficult strain to grow so i can try to point out one or two things about whats making her grow really confusing to some people *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** --one thing i've noticed is the amount of pistils this strain is shooting out at the end of flower,yeah that means she can pack more weight but still --growing leafs too and the buds getting all stretchy and foxtailed can make people confused,some twisted growth here and there,mutated buds or wierd shape "heirloom" plant look,it's a heriloom sativa landrace strain in the end so expect the heriloom look on buds,(even saw one guy on youtube flowering her more than about 140 days or smt,she was still growing and growing ) it's not re-vegging or other stuff,its pure psychedelic DR GRINSPOON BALLS ! --lots of pistils which aren't darkened but curled in ,don't expect all pistils to be darkened by your harvest time ,it's a known thing for some long flowering sativas to still have white pistils at the end ,well if you look a bit closely those are more with a lime vibrant tint of color to them 😎 The best thing is to look upon trichomes on this one to figure out the right time to harvest,or to get a good indication as in a aproximate time when your harvest window opens ,because what i've mentioned above is tricky so just gotta get the zoom in on those buds and see those nice mushroomy cristal heads 😍 **Note** not all long flowering sativa strains can get amber trichomes,so try to harvest when more then 90% seem milky,for a max potency high! ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** About how she grows and what she likes is not over feeding her but trying to maintaing a good balance to not get into deficiencies at end of flower,so you have to time right when you stop giving her nutes,dosages as well. This strain takes alot of stress and like LST in particular,responds well with topping too and definetly loves a scrog net with some lollypopping ,i've definetly made a mistake here and there,just was lucky enough to not get her into deficiencies.I think i overdid it a bit on the Nitrogen side but it kinda went out fast after around 20 days of clear water. The buds were washed in baking soda and hanged upside down for 8 days ,i decided to trim as the drying goes along,so i had alot of work up ahead,got alot of trimms and will do some brownies before xmas 😇😍 so that's a YES for me ! I honeslty admit i've pinched a bud here and there for smoking,inspection all in the name of science 😇😅 well i took only popcorn nugs off so not a big loss,so nothing to see here ,move along 💪 The flowering cycle is definetly crazy or how i prefered calling it "rabbid" right after she stops streching ,growth slows down a little and after 2-3 weeks she starts on growing again,but she doesn't follow a strict flowering rule like all the other plants i've grown,she starts putting up trichomes before adding on weight,then she starts adding on some weight and starts streching a bit more,then bulking up and shooting more hairs.period.repeat 😲 **mind fuck** but still trichomes are one of the primary things too look at harvest,on buds,not leafs,not inner calyxes 💪 ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Love how she smokes and smells,an aroma that purely makes a mouthwatering feeling at the beggining but leaves you with a desert like mouth afterwards😉😅 when i grind up some of it,the smell covers the whole room ,it's danky citric,sometimes limey,sometimes orangy,with lovely hints of gas ,just crazy ! the lower buds smell more earthy and the topper are more inclined to gasy,citric smell,the taste is like the smell! mouthwatering,but definetly need alot of water next to it. The high is a powerful sometimes mind blowing experience,depends on how much you smoke and from what,i prefer joints ,good ol' J ,so i've been looking for like 20 minutes around my room but when i realised what i was looking for was the remote to the tv i was a bit shocked,this has never happened to me before 😅 i've got the exact similar happenings from 2 friends of mine which i've gifted a bit of The Doc ,you can deeply focus on it,do stuff,but i do not advise to plan on working,doing hardcore activities,the high is long lasting and you will often be blown away and fall asleep from smoking too much,or be high as a kite with a dry mouth all day😄 but it all depends on how much you smoke,anyways one simple word can describe this strain DIVINE,why? honestly it's a gift from God,it's one of those rare strains which connects with you and makes you function better after experiencing it,anyone who growed this strain knows what im talking about! got 156 dry without actualy having a chance to put the first cola colected on the scaler so i put an extra 10 g for the first harvested cola I WANT TO THANK @BARNEYS FOR SPONSORING THIS GROW @GREEN_BUZZ_LIQUIDS AS WELL !
