Week 2 Diary Update
Welcome to the start of my new diary! We’re kicking off this run with Permanent Marker by Seedstockers, and as of today, the girls are 15 days old.
The early vegetative stage is moving along smoothly. They’ve established a solid root structure and are starting to display nice, healthy fan leaves with broad, vivid green foliage. Node spacing looks tight and strong so far. Environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, and airflow) have been kept strictly in the sweet spot to make sure the transition from seedling to active veg is completely stress-free.

🔲 Added a new 0.75 x 1 m Danish tray on a stand to improve drainage and aeration.
Filled the pots to the brim with fresh coco coir.
💧 I’m having some issues with humidity, which is hovering around 60%;
I’ve cut back on watering and placed a dehumidifier in the room, but I want to set it up with Wi-Fi plugs for remote and automatic control.

They’re finally starting to feed properly;
I had issues with the pH dropping too low in the coco. likely due to salt buildup.
So I had to flush thoroughly with tap water until the runoff pH in the pots got back up to the 5.7–5.8 range. Now I’m using a higher input pH to keep buffering it... it’s a classic coco problem, but luckily the tray underneath makes a huge difference, it’s much more confortable.
I’ve also reduced the input EC to 1200 mS/cm; the recommended dosages are definitely too high and heavy on nitrogen.

AcidFarmer Right !! finally now we’re getting somewhere
The rinsed substrate simply required a significantly higher supply of nutrients.
In absence, the plants release H+ ions, which, as it turns out, acidifies the coconut coir.
The solution is to add more Cal-Mag 😆
Water Solution:
1.4 mll grow
0.8 mll bloom
1.0 mll micro
1.5 mll calmag
