ellioschka Cuttings arrived within a day via Overnight Express from MannyT. Really beautiful plants, healthy as can be, and great white roots! 👌 Freshly arrived, they got to rest a bit on the windowsill in the sun before being placed in the grow tent. 30W light for 2 days to help with transport stress, then 100W from the spider farmer. 😊 After that, they were repotted into 1L net pots filled with EuroPebbles. The clay pebbles were rinsed and primed with enough Alpine Nutrients 3-Part nutrient solution beforehand. (3-Part nutrient schedule for hydroponics, weeks 1-2 Roots. pH set to 5.7 with sulfuric acid) To ensure the roots penetrate the pebbles, care was taken to let the pebbles dry out a bit before watering again. Twice a day, a foliar application of the same watering solution was done using a spray bottle. ellioschka The Grape Balls of Fire RBX plants are relatively slow with their roots and had the highest magnesium requirements along with the Lemon Zkittle.😏 The roots prefer to grow downwards instead of breaking out the sides of the pots. Just like with all the other plants, the nutrient dosage was increased after a slight Mg deficiency. Spraying was completely stopped and the VPD was raised to the range of 0.8-1.0. Next week, they're going into the big tent.👍

ellioschka The grape balls have also made it into their 10L aeroponic pots. 👍 The struggles of the past weeks are forgotten, and the new home is being explored with long white roots. The plants seem relatively vigorous and looked healthy enough for me to chop their heads off today. 😬 Done deal, let’s see how they look next week; maybe the net will come into the tent then. Nutrients are still provided with the Alpine Nutrients schedule VW3+. 😎
