ellioschka Cuttings arrived within a day via Overnight Express from MannyT. Really beautiful plants, super healthy with great white roots! 👌
Freshly arrived, they got to relax a bit on the windowsill in the sun before being placed in the propagation tent. 30W light for 2 days to help with transport stress, then 100W from the spider farmer. 😊
After that, they were repotted into 1L net pots filled with EuroPebbles. The clay pebbles were rinsed and primed with enough Alpine Nutrients 3-Part nutrient solution beforehand. (3-Part nutrient schedule for hydroponics, week 1-2 Roots. pH adjusted to 5.7 with sulfuric acid)
To ensure the roots penetrate the pebbles, care was taken to let the pebbles dry out a bit before watering again. Twice a day, additional foliar application of the same watering solution via spray bottle.

ellioschka The Grape Balls of Fire RBX plants are relatively slow with their roots and had the highest magnesium requirements along with the Lemon Zkittle.😏 The roots prefer to grow downwards instead of breaking out the sides of the pots. Just like with all the other plants, the nutrient dosage was increased after a slight Mg deficiency. Spraying was completely stopped and the VPD was raised to the range of 0.8-1.0. Next week, they're going into the big tent.👍

ellioschka The grape balls have also made it into their 10L aeroponic pots. 👍
The struggles of the past weeks are forgotten, and the new home is being explored with long white roots.
The plants seem relatively vigorous and looked healthy enough for me to chop their heads off today. 😬
Done deal, let’s see how they look next week; maybe the net will come into the tent then.
Nutrients are still provided with the Alpine Nutrients schedule VW3+. 😎

ellioschka The grape ball girls are doing visibly well. They handled the topping nicely, and for the past three days, they've been kept in bondage style at a net height of 25 cm. Below the surface, they're diligently building. The root network is steadily growing and has now reached the bottom of the pot. The roots are slowly taking on the color of the nutrient solution, with some showing slightly brown tips.😶
Overall, the girls are a bit low on juice. While this makes them easy to weave, it slows down their growth. That's why the watering times have been adjusted; during the day, they get 5 seconds every 45 minutes, and at night, 5 seconds every 75 minutes.
As soon as the net is filled in, we'll flip and head into flowering. It's about time...😉

ellioschka Not much new: The net is 85% full and side shoots are already pushing through everywhere. In two days, the switch will be flipped, and then flowering week 1 starts. 👹
The little grapes are clearly growing taller than the other genetics. The roots are white, with some rusty spots due to the iron. I've reduced the interval between watering bursts again. 😏
